We stayed here in March 2007. The hotel is recommended in the Time Out Guide and the hotel's web site pictures look great but it was actually a disappointment and we wonder if Time Out had actually been there! The bathrooms are poky and cheap. The first room we were shown was dark, rather small and very un-inviting and only had a window opening onto the corridor . We opted for a larger room with more light and this was characterful. They forgot to clean our room on two days. For US$80 a night you can get much better value and more friendly service. The San Telmo area in which the hotel is located is however great fun and interesting in a down at heel but up-and-coming way. Argentinian hotels and hostals were in our experience all good value and of high quality at various price ranges but posada de la luna was the exception. Shame!
