Where I stay is just as important as what I do when I go away for a holiday. Thus, I am very pleased that I chose this wonderful Bed & Breakfast.

I had a great room that was beautifully decorated and was at an extremely reasonable price. The room was cable-ready, had a very modern private bathroom and its own temperture control. My bed was so comfortable that it was really hard to get up in the morning. I also felt very safe in the neighborhood and at Casa Palermitano.

My favorite part of Casa Palermitano was Lorena, Andrea, Norma and Lucas. Every morning with a little Spanish music in the background, Norma presented a great breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, bread, desserts, and fruit in the morning. Lorena and Andrea were very attentive and offered to be resources for me even after I left the B&B (I was traveling solo through Buenos Aires).

Additionally, before I arrived in Buenos Aires, Lorena contacted me to give me some helpful travel tips (i.e. where to exchange monies, where to catch a reputable taxi from the airport, etc).

I was somewhat solemn the day I had to leave Casa Palermitano for the next leg of my trip. My experience at Casa Palermitano was more than what I would have ever hoped. I am not sure if they realize how amazing they made my trip, but I am tremendously grateful to them.

  • Liked — It did not have a tourisy feel to it. I felt like I was at home.

We had a lovely stay here with Lorena and Lucas (the parrot!), I felt really welcome, Lorena was really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing. It's a good place to meet other people too and share travelling stories. It is a really nice area and easy to get into the centre. There are lots of shopping centres and restaurants nearby too. It was really good value for money. Not luxurious but clean and comfortable. When you stay in Buenos Aires you must go to a Tango show, we went to Complejo Tango, recommended by Lorena and it was awesome, we even got to do a tango lesson there beforehand, which was really fun! Thank you so much for looking after us Lorena! See you soon, Laura (UK)

My friend and I stayed at Casa Palermitano during our first visit to Argentina. We were made to feel very welcome - the breakfast was lovely and our hostess, Lorena, did everything she could to help make our stay memorable - thank you very much!

We had a great stay at the Casa Palermitano! We were not to happy with Buenos Aires in general but this visit made us feel better about the entire place. Lorena was a great hostess with wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the local area and around Buenos Aires.

This was part of a three week honeymoon for us and we highly recommend staying here- especially if you enjoy local flavor and like B&B'S. The parrot was also a great hit. Lucas talked up a storm and was very entertaining.

We would return happily!

  • Liked — The owner and the atmosphere
  • Disliked — The rooms were a bit small and the stairwell was steep if you are a person with a hard time climbing stairs.

Like many of you, we saw the glowing reviews for Casa Palermitano on Trip Advisor and booked a five-night stay here. To our good fortune, it was not only sensational, but also a short walk to the residencia where our daughter was living during her semester abroad.

Our room was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and had a brand new bathroom. But the accommodations aren't the star of the show here. It's the proprietors, Lorena, Andrea, and Lucas the parrot.

What sweet, helpful, funny people (and bird). They always were willing to explain how to do things, get places, and what to see (and avoid) in Buenos Aires. They are the kind of innkeepers who feel like instant friends the moment you meet them.

Kudos, too, to the very delicious and beautifully prepared breakfasts.

If we have one tiny little caution it's about thin walls. Earplugs might be a good thing to bring along. But in no way should that discourage you from staying here. We guarantee you'll have wonderful time.

  • Liked — The wonderfully friendly and helpful proprietors
  • Disliked — Nothing - It was just great!
