I stayed at Casa Palermitano during my four-day visit to BA in April/May this year. While BA is a great city, I must say that my trip was made even greater by the hospitality I received at this wonderful B&B. Lorena and Andrea were simply wonderful, always wiling to help, always going that extra mile to provide detailed information whatever request I had for my trip, providing suggestions for day trips to the delta near BA.

The B&B itself has an amazing atmosphere with high ceilings and is spotlessly clean. It is in a safe residential area with easy access to public transport. This actually did make my stay a more pleasant one as I felt more like a traveller than a tourist, having the chance to see and 'feel' the city. I felt perfectly comfortable walking on my own in the area at night.

In short, Casa Palermitano has easily exceeded all my expectations, which were already pretty high given that it had the top ranking and all the postive reviews on this site when I decided to make the reservation.

Four of us stayed at Casa Palermitano for 6 nights before a month long exchange in North East Argentina. Three of us stayed in a clean and comfortable room. Lorena and Andrea are great!! We had so much fun with them. They have a great sense of humor. They are more than accomodating and will help you plan whatever you would like to do. They set up a soccer match for me and a bike tour for one of the other girls. On the last night we had an asado with them and some of the other guests. It was so much fun, but some of that is "off the record."

They were not only helpful when we stayed, but before our arrival. I received emails from Lorena with advice about which cabs to take and how much it should cost and where to exchange money for the best rates. Really, unbelievable customer service. We even got a few emails from Lorena after our trip following our journey.

They have a computer with skype which was nice for keeping in contact with home. Breakfast is great and the coffee is good too!!! The parrot (Luke Skywalker) is a great addition.

I would definately recommend staying here, especially for the price. You can walk to the different neighborhoods, stop to buy some Quilmes, wine, and some food and enjoy the patio.

Great bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is fairly central. There are two subway stations within a 10-15 minute walk and most major attractions are a quick cab ride away. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They do everything possible to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. For instance, I had my camera stolen on the subway and one of them helped me figure out how to get a police report accompanied me to the station for over an hour to act as an interpreter.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Palermitano for three nights in early May. We could not have been happier. The location and the hotel itself were great. Not to mention that Lorena and Andrea went above and beyond to help us get around the city. The breakfast was great (pastries, fruit, bread, coffee, and real orange juice). Our room was pretty big and clean.

I highly recommend this B&B if you really want to experience Buenos Aires. I would stay here again and again.
