We just spent 5 days here and were very pleased with the hospitality and helpfulness of the owners and staff. They always went out of their way to accomodate us and were a tremendous wealth of information about the city and its sites. We always were just a short taxi ride from anywhere we wanted to visit. If you enjoy walking you are a 15 minute stroll to Palermo Viejo and a grest restaurant district and the area is very safe. We walked back from our restaurants almost every night and never had a problem or felt the least bit uncomfortable. It was a great way to work off dinner and stop for a gelato. All the rooms are high ceilinged, very clean, neat, with their own bathrooms and well air conditioned. The breakfasts were wonderful, fresh juice, delicious pastries and much more. This is not a Ramada/Holiday Inn etc., but it is a great place to stay and get a better feel for the city and its inhabitants. If you don't want the typical sterile room and bland atmosphere this is a great place with a wonderful host.

The location of Casa Palermitano was good, between two subway stops that take you easily into most of areas of interest, though taxis are quite affordable. It's a short walk to Palermo Soho where a lot of restaurants and vendors create a lively atmosphere.

The best, however, was the interesting dwelling itself--high ceilings and doors, a spacious room with a modern bathroom, and a comfortable living room available to lounge in or to use the Internet. Lovely art from around the world adorns the walls in a tasteful manner.

Breakfasts were excellent and allowed for interesting interactions with other travelers and with Lorena and Andrea, who were well-educated, passionate, and informative. They also went the distance to help with arrangements that needed to be made.

We booked this lodging on the basis of other travelers' recommendations, and we were very pleased.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Palermitano for 10 days and we had a great time. Lorena and Andrea were the best hostesses! Their restaurant and activity recommendations were spot on and they were extremely helpful in arranging reservations and activities for us.
The neighborhood is convenient and safe. We were able to walk to many nice restaurants and most of the attractions in the city are about a 10 peso ($3 USD) cab ride away from Casa Palermitano. Some of the rooms are quieter than others, but they are all very clean and have high ceilings, interesting art work and AC. The breakfast was delicious! We met so many interesting people from all over the world over breakfast.
If we go back we'll definitely stay at C.P. again!

This place is brilliant. The most important aspect, as others have written in their reviews, was the hosts. Lorena and her team do everything humanly possible to help you, smoothing out all those problems that creep up on you when you arrive in a new city. She is not just friendly. She performs her miracles while making you feel lilke a member of the family, but without fussing over you.

The place is in a lovely part of Palermo, with an atmospheric fruit and veg shop and a cafe just next door to add to the Parisian feel. The rooms are beautiful, magnificently renovated and sparkling clean, the water is always hot, the air conditioning just as you need it. Plenty of others have written about the breakfast. It's all true.

I would recommend this place, and the marvellous team, to anyone.

I am extremely pleased with my stay at Casa Palermitano during my visit to Buenos Aires.

The location of the hotel was perfect. I was able to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants of Palermo, and it was away from the hustle and bustle of busy touristy areas. Since I consider myself a traveler and not a tourist, I thought the location made me feel that I was a part of Buenos Aires.

I stayed at Casa Palermitano for a total of 5 nights. The rooms had private bathrooms, AC, and more importantly, they were clean and spotless. They were also airy with high ceilings. My friend and I were very happy with our rooms.

The breakfast was very, very good and gave us a great start for the day. The breakfast included fresh fruits, coffee, fresh orange juice, different kinds of bread, meats, cheese, pastries, fruit jam, and dulce de leche. I definitely looked forward to breakfast.

I was also able to keep in touch with family and friends using the computer in the living room. The Internet connection was good. It was a speedy and efficient experience.

In addition to all of the above, Lorena and her staff were great hosts. My flight was delayed for three hours and I arrived at Casa Palermitano at 3:30AM on Christmas Day. Lorena waited up for us and that was very much appreciated. She was a great host and made our stay perfect. I would definitely stay at Casa Palermitano the next time I visit Buenos Aires. I look forward to it!
