My husband and I stayed at Casa Palermitano for 10 days and we had a great time. Lorena and Andrea were the best hostesses! Their restaurant and activity recommendations were spot on and they were extremely helpful in arranging reservations and activities for us.
The neighborhood is convenient and safe. We were able to walk to many nice restaurants and most of the attractions in the city are about a 10 peso ($3 USD) cab ride away from Casa Palermitano. Some of the rooms are quieter than others, but they are all very clean and have high ceilings, interesting art work and AC. The breakfast was delicious! We met so many interesting people from all over the world over breakfast.
If we go back we'll definitely stay at C.P. again!

This place is brilliant. The most important aspect, as others have written in their reviews, was the hosts. Lorena and her team do everything humanly possible to help you, smoothing out all those problems that creep up on you when you arrive in a new city. She is not just friendly. She performs her miracles while making you feel lilke a member of the family, but without fussing over you.

The place is in a lovely part of Palermo, with an atmospheric fruit and veg shop and a cafe just next door to add to the Parisian feel. The rooms are beautiful, magnificently renovated and sparkling clean, the water is always hot, the air conditioning just as you need it. Plenty of others have written about the breakfast. It's all true.

I would recommend this place, and the marvellous team, to anyone.

I am extremely pleased with my stay at Casa Palermitano during my visit to Buenos Aires.

The location of the hotel was perfect. I was able to walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants of Palermo, and it was away from the hustle and bustle of busy touristy areas. Since I consider myself a traveler and not a tourist, I thought the location made me feel that I was a part of Buenos Aires.

I stayed at Casa Palermitano for a total of 5 nights. The rooms had private bathrooms, AC, and more importantly, they were clean and spotless. They were also airy with high ceilings. My friend and I were very happy with our rooms.

The breakfast was very, very good and gave us a great start for the day. The breakfast included fresh fruits, coffee, fresh orange juice, different kinds of bread, meats, cheese, pastries, fruit jam, and dulce de leche. I definitely looked forward to breakfast.

I was also able to keep in touch with family and friends using the computer in the living room. The Internet connection was good. It was a speedy and efficient experience.

In addition to all of the above, Lorena and her staff were great hosts. My flight was delayed for three hours and I arrived at Casa Palermitano at 3:30AM on Christmas Day. Lorena waited up for us and that was very much appreciated. She was a great host and made our stay perfect. I would definitely stay at Casa Palermitano the next time I visit Buenos Aires. I look forward to it!

My wife and I recently stayed for three nights at the Casa Palmermatano and we felt that it offered good value for a B&B. The room we had was comfortable and spacious, although it was fairly basic and the hot water was sporadic. The owner, Lorena was very friendly and extremely helpful in assisting us in seeing the sights and attractions of BA. One very nice feature of the B&B is the availability of free hi-speed internet.
The biggest disadvantage is that the B&B is not within easy walking distance of any nice restaurant/bar areas or other attractions. It is about a half hour walk to the interesting areas of Palmero or to the metro, so to go anywhere else it is necessary to take a bus or taxi.
However overall we enjoyed our stay there and we would recommend it as a very reasonably priced place to stay.

Management response from LorenaBA, Owner

In the same way we helped you with the planning in Buenos Aires, we could have assisted you with any problem concerning the house.

It’s in our main interest that everything works well. I can certify that the hot water is working normally because we live here so we use it every day.

So, I don’t know what happened during the 3 days you were here because you came to talk with us several times for different subjects but you never talked with us about this specific subject.

Concerning the subway, we have 2 stations close to the house. We have Bulnes is about 8 (800 meters) blocks and Medrano is about 6 blocks (600 meters). Also, several buses going to San Telmo (29), La Boca (29), Recoleta (106 and 92) Microcentro (106, 109, 140) all are about one or two blocks.

Unfortunately, Buenos Aires has only 4 lines subway (all are parallel between them) and one which is perpendicular to all (in total 5). It’s a few number for the size of the city.

So, it’s very difficult to find a location with more than one station close.

In this case, it's better to be in downtown (it’s the origin of all the lines) but not in the neighborhood of Palermo (which is the biggest of all).

For the moment the subway is not like in other cities in the world (like Paris) that you have a network covering the entire city.

I stayed at Casa Palermitano for eight lovely nights...what can I say? I loved the house's old charm and the daily breakfast (churros, facturas, jugos de naranja, dulce de leche, tostadas..que mas se puede pedir), but the thing that makes Casa Palermitano a unique place are their owners Lorena and Andrea...they are the best, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Thanks for everything guys!!!!!!!!!! Nos vemos pronto :)
