On the edge of Palermo Viejo, this affordable B&B is a real must!
The rooms are light, modern and spotless and there is fast internet access available in the lounge area. Breakfast consists of a good selection of pastries, bread and fruit - in fact it was the best we had during our 3 weeks of travel!

The owner Lorena was brilliant and helped with our every need. From reservations to recommendations, she was on hand to translate, advise and arrange. This place is a real find.....

hi lorena!!! some friends of ours tried to stay with you, but you were booked. we had a good time telling them of our stay with you, though.
for those reading this, casa palermitano is a great place to stay. lorena is wonderful, so nice, and very, very helpful with all of your questions and plannings for b.a. and argentina. you would really be hard-pressed to pick a better place to stay.
Cheers Lorena! we miss you! and lucas!

My husband and I decided to do a short stop over in Buenos Aires in our way back to Sydney and booked the accomodation at Casa Palermitano online.
We have just returned from a 3 days stay there and absolutely loved the experience. From the moment I contacted the hostel via email I got a quick response back from Lorena, the owner who provided me with all the information I needed and gave me some suggestions on what to do and where to go in Buenos Aires. Getting advice from a local is fantastic and it comes handy when you just have few days to visit such a large city.
I booked a double room with ensuite which was very clean, tidy and roomy.
This hostel feels very homey unlike many others and has a welcoming atmosphere.
A highlight and something that I really enjoyed during my stay is that the room's price includes a superb breakfast with fruit, fresh brewed coffee, a lovely variety of argentinian sweet pastries, dulce de leche, home made jam and freshly squeezed orange juice, what else could you ask for? I will go back there thousand times just to have that breakfast!
I highly recommend this B&B for budget concious singles, families and couples looking for the convenience of a centrally located hostel (public transport is widely avaiable in the Palermo area where the hostel is, we travelled by bus and had no troubles at all), the owner and staff are really nice and warm. In summary, this is an absolute must!!

we found this place on tripadvisor and it is a lovely guest house - beautiful rooms, free internet and fantastic breakfasts. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only possible drawback is that it is a bit of a trek into the centre but suited us as was nice to have a walk

This was our first visit to South America from South Africa and we spent a wonderful 6 days at Casa Palmeritano as part of our honeymoon. My husband booked us here after seeing the high ratings on this site. It did not disappoint!

Lorena is everything everyone has reported her to be. She is invested, available, friendly and helpful. She assisted with everything from translation to entertainment. We soon felt we were home from home and didn't want to leave!! The breakfasts, served up by Norma, were sociable, delicious and far superior to those we had elsewhere in Argentina, at a similar cost level.

Being near to a central bus route made this a wonderful jumping-off point from which to explore this surprising, amazing, vibrant city. Having free on site access to a computer with fast internet connection was an added bonus.

Lorena made our honeymoon stay extra special and we hope we will be able to return as we are hooked on Casa Palmeritano and Buenos Aires...
