We booked the B&B for 5 nights, after looking at their website. The website gives the impression of a nice old house, well maintained. Upon arrival the website turned out to be much nicer than the B&B. The rooms are very sparse, the blankets are so/so clean and the toilet did not work. We arrived Friday morning very early and we told the owner and he promised to fix the toilet. When we came back at the end of the day, the toilet was still not working...... He also mentioned that the previous guests had broken the toilet, so he was aware of the issue, without fixing it. This was supposed to be a nice and relaxing vacation, so we decided to switch hotel. The only problem was that we had our 5 day stay pre-paid upon arrival (big mistake !!!). We negotiated with the owner that we would get half our money back, however he said that he did not have the money anymore we gave him that morning and that the banks were closed, so we had to come back on Monday to get the money. Then on Sunday we received an e-mail stating that he had some financial issues and could not pay us till Wednesday (or later), knowing very well that by that time we would have left Buenos Aires !! We had to involve the Tourist Police to get the money back. That is crazy. Conclusion: If you are looking for a simple youth hostel type B&B, and don't care if everything works, stay here. If you want a nice B&B experience, where you are treated like a valued guest and were you do not have to get the police involved to get whatever is owed to you, don't stay here.
