The rooms are wonderful. Very clean, modern and VERY BIG, even for a 4 stars hotels. The location is amazing, close to almost everything, just in the corner of Avenida Corrientes. The breakfast is excellent, and so is the service. There are only a few rooms what make it more exclusive. The hotel is the best option for the price, even for more expensive hotels we think it will be hard to beat this hotel.

The Tryp Hotel was a great experience! My boyfriend and I were so impressed with the hotel staff, very friendly service, and the accommodations. The hotel room felt very chic, with a chocolate on our pillows when we arrived. The hotel is very central to Florida street and other touristy places, and we were happy to come back to our hotel room after a long day of walking around. The breakfast was wonderful; definitely a great start to our day! We took a side trip to Mar Del Plata, at which we disliked our accommodations and were dreaming so much of Tryp, that we decided to return to Buenos Aires a day early to spend time at this great hotel. I would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed here for one night early this month and loved it. Earlier in our month long trip we stayed in Palermo Hollywood for 5 days but would not recommend that locale. This location was terrific, right in the midst of things, and the hotel room was gorgeous-clean, spacious and airy. The breakfast buffet was the best of the trip. If you are looking for good value ($140U.S./night), comfortable king bed, a huge shower, large modern desk, free internet access and a very clean room, book this hotel.

We were delighted with our choice of the Tryp, (member of Sol Melia chain), conveniently located downtown a block from Florida, the main shopping street, for 5 nights after a cruise round the Horn.
It's a "no-frills" hotel, popular with both tourists and visiting executives for whom a pool, cocktail lounge and fancy dining room are not essential.
Our air-conditioned room measured 21 X 18 ft,. with modern furniture, flat TV and well equipped bathroom. The breakfast/dining room is also well-furnished and spotless. The buffet offered a wide range of hot food, cereals, fresh fruit, breads and pastries. Two computers with Internet connection are available for guests' use.The staff is attentive and cheerful.
Security is evidently a priority. There is a doorman and your room key is the only way to operate the elevators.
The price was very competitive and booking through Sol Melia's US office was simple.
We would certainly go back on a future visit to Buenos Aires was easy
