I always check out reviews in trip advisor now and found this recommended. I have to say it is the nicest hotel that I have stayed at. Granted I've never stayed in a 5 star, but I was very impressed. The location is perfect and the rooms are gorgeous. Accommodation is really contemporary and they use the best mattresses and duvets. I didn't want to leave! I would recommend this hotel highly.

The Tryp Buenos Aires offers quality services and amenities for relatively low cost. I can assure you from personal experience, you can pay far more and get far less in return from other hotels in Buenos Aires compared to this hotel.

I will just comment on a few things from my observations as other reviewers have written complete reports about the location etc of this hotel. Booking online via the official Sol Melía website is easy and effective. One of only two little complaints I have about this hotel is that I required four nights and their booking system suggested I could only have two. I consequently booked for just two nights but commented I required another two nights. This comment did not yield a reply nor did the email I sent closer to the check-in date, directly to the hotel. Ironically, they had booked us in for the four nights I wanted which was surprising.

Hotel staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Security is noticeably visible around the complex including card-activated elevators which is a positive feature. Hotel property location is centrally located with Florida street just around the corner.

Our room was spacious, clean and modern, typical of a Tryp hotel. Although we were just on the second floor, overlooking the front entrance, we could not hear any noise and it's a busy, inner-city street. Free broadband in our room was most useful and performed excellently. Cable TV had many channels although I did not come across an English news channel such as CNN or BBC.

A breakfast at a Tryp hotel is always very good and this was no surprise to strike ample food here. My only other slight complaint is that I thought room service offered little and seemed expensive at that.

Overall, we throughly enjoyed our four night stay at this hotel and are planning to stay here again next time.

This hotel felt like a Westin, Its Chic, but in a adult way. Unlike the hipper SoHo hotels; Service was great and friendly. And while its location was like any modern downtown.. if you learn the cross streets its a breeze to get in and out of at night. The metro is a block away, and so is Galleries Pacifico. I could walk to most downtown clubs at night, and never felt unsafe more than I would in any big modern first world city. You wont however get the real vibe of BA here. But if you are in the country, and city for more than a few weeks. Its a cool, friendly, tasteful place to call home, and decompress.. think Midtown manhattan and you'd be right on the money. the Rooms are elegant. There was even an Eames group chair at the desk. heated bathroom floors etc .. also made a nice last week in BA after wackier arrangements in other places of stayed .. like Home. And at the same price. I Enjoyed every night of my stay there as I prepared to leave at the close of my month long trip in Argentina .. FYI you can walk to the restaurant Million in 20 min max, while strolling thought the on of the most beautiful parts of the city. A belle arts District that feels like Paris. its a nice walk and its only a few mins away across the large ave that splits BA in half .. the name escapes me .. I think the street had a date for a name .. but really .. its a nice location because that older neighborhood is so close ....

From the outside, you would never expect this hotel to be much of anything. But don't let the small lobby fool you--the rooms are amazing! I would compare them to a W, or a Loews hotel. The rooms are so modern, but spacious, and so tasteful. The amenities in the room were fantastic too--toothbrush, razor, sewing kit, vanity kit, shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was lovely, very plentiful and good. We spent the last night of our trip to Argentina here--had I known, I would have booked the Tryp for our entire stay in Buenos Aires.

The Tryp hotel is an excellent option in terms of benefits/price.
The room is big enough. It has a safebox, a sofa, a small, but nice bathroom. It is a new hotel, nicely furnished and decorated in a minimalistic way. Its food, prepared in the Miró Restaurant, is of good quality and presentation. Its staff is friendly and corteous at all times. They serve a complimentary breakfast.... It is located one block from Florida Street, pretty near Puerto Madero, which is an excellent choice to look for restaurants. The streets that sorround the hotel were not clean. Garbage can be seen, almost everywhere, but the hotel is centrally located.... It is pretty near the Recoleta, which is a beautiful town.... I definitely, recommend this hotel. I spent my first night at the hotel Elevage, which I consider of inferior quality, older, but it was more expensive than the Tryp
