This is a late review, but we have spent the last year telling our friends that staying here made our BA trip extra special. Alejandro is a fabulous host and did not mind sharing his thoughts on living and working in this fascinating city -- we probably monopolized too much of his time each morning after a fabulous breakfast. It was a joy to meet Viviana, a true artist. A highlight was her invitation one afternoon to join her salsa dancing lesson with friends! I recommend this B&B experience if you want to be well taken care of and meeting interesting travelers from all over the world. If we get lucky enough to return to BA, we will be back at Posada Palermo in a heartbeat!

As someone who travels and uses Bed and Breakfasts often, I found Posada Palermo to be SUPERB. It was affordable, incredibly clean, GREAT breakfast and so cute! Not to mention the staff was very very friendly and willing to help you call a taxi, teach you to cook something, let you use their kitchen or whatever else you may need. The decor was very stylish and colorful. It is an old building that has been kept up incredibly well. The bedding was new and clean as well as the mattress. Breakfast in the mornings was just divine. They make their own yogurt (and I don't like yogurt, but this I ate it every morning), jams, dulce de leche and butter. There are pastries and cookies and fruit and eggs and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Talk about a feast! I am just disappointed I haven't found a bed and breakfast to compare in the U.S. And no need to speak Spanish as Alejandro speaks English. Don't stay at a hotel, stay at this bed and breakfast, you will not regret it.

For my second visit in this so special place, it was the same magic and extraordinary stay! Vivian, Alejandro and Cristina and her faboulous breakfasts! It is like to stay in an art gallery...with so nice people!

Posada Palermo had been recommended by a friend who had stayed here a few years ago. She had been afraid she was portraying it in too good a light and that I might be disappointed. Not to worry! It was so charming. One day I was exhausted, so I sat outside in the lovely back patio and read, accompanied by their adorable dog!

Vivianna, Alejandro and the entire staff were wonderful. I stayed with a friend here & Alejandro took us to a wine tasting & then out to dinner. I'm sure he had other things to do besides entertaining two middle-aged ladies, but he was great about it.

Continued good luck with your fabulous B&B. It & the people were an important part of sealing my love for this gorgeous & interesting city!
