The Posada Palermo is a quiet little oasis in the midst of a huge and bustling city. I just returned from a week's stay at the Posada and found the hosts Alejandro and Viviana to be very welcoming, accomodating, and well organized. My room was clean and quiet and the dining area was spacious---its large table was filled each morning with a variety of homemade breakfast foods enjoyed by fellow travelers from all over the world. This B&B is close to many major attractions the city has to offer so walking, taking public transportation, or a short cab ride will get you anywhere you want to go. I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend the Posada Palermo to anyone looking for comfortable accomodations in Buenos Aires.

My husband and I have just returned from a month long vacation in Sth America-5 nights of which were spent at Posada Palermo. We chose this B/B after reading the numerous wonderful reviews not only here on Trip Advisor but also in a travel guide to Argentina. I can now confirm that these reviews are well deserved! Viviana and Alejandro offer nothing but the best. From advice on where to go and what to see, where to eat, reservations for taxis, shows etc - they take care of it all.
Their warmth and kindness is something really special.
As for the location...great. It's within pleasant walking distances to much of what you should see in Buenos Aires-otherwise taxis are an easy option.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Your every need is catered for-no need to even buy bottled water-tea and coffee facilities and hot/cold water all provided.
Breakfasts are colourfully presented and there is a variety of food catering for all tastes.
I recommend Posada Palermo unreservedly. As previously stated in another review-it's a "gem".

I just returned from a fabulous 6 day stay at the Posada Palermo. The bed and breakfast is in a great location, making access to anywhere in Buenos Aires simple. The bed and breakfast is quiet and the rooms are charming. Alejandro, the manager is great! He is very helpful, giving directions, making recommendations and reservations when needed. There were times at breakfast that the other guests would be conversing in languages other than my own and he always explained what they were talking about to include me in the conversation. Viviana, the owner, also makes you feel extremely welcome in her home. Her homemade jams and yogurt are delicious. The breakfast every morning was delicious, with a wide variety of food and is very filling.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I can only confirm what so many on this site have already said about this b&b -- it's fantastic! My wife and I went for our honeymoon and we found that many of our favorite places to eat were in easy walking distance of this hotel. For the things that we like, you pretty much can't beat the location. As for the quality of service, I think the reviews posted below make it clear that you will really enjoy meeting the owner and manager. We were there for ten days, and almost every morning we were treated to engaging conversations about local culture and politics. An all-around great experience.
