Not many places in the world will provide you with a decent continental breakfast at your doorsteps every day.

Art Suites is close to all of Buenos Aires' action, but far enough to feel residential. The doormen are all friendly, English speaking gentlemen, who with patience listened to attempts to speak in Spanish, and always figured out what we were trying to say. Their restaurant recommendations were always exactly what we were looking for. The advantage of Art Suites is that my family of 4 could stay together in one room. Our suite had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen, and balcony. It was decorated in a modern urban style. My son was thrilled to find 5 soccer channels 24/7. The hostess was professional & gracious. Each AM we got a tray of coffee, juices, fruit & pastries. It was nice to walk out of the building and find coffee shops and small delis in the area, just like a local! I highly recommend Art Suites for safety, cleanliness, location, room size, service, and a roomy place to unwind, like at home. When I return to Buenos Aires, I will definitely stay here again!

Four of us stayed here for two nights during our Argentina trip in February. We loved it because we had all been divided in hotels rooms in the other hotels we stayed in and at the Art Suites we had a living room, dining room and kitchen. The dining room was great for our late night dance party after we got back from the clubs.

I would only recommend this place for groups of more than 2 since it is expensive.

We stayed for 5 nights in Art Suites. The location is excellent, within walking distance of museums, restaurants, cafes, top-notch shopping, bargain shopping and one really great book store. The staff was friendly.

The room itself was really just a small apartment, with a tiny kitchen that you really can't expect to cook in. On the other hand, restaurants in BsAs are thick on the ground and very affordable, so who needs to cook? The furnishings were on the ragged side. Paint was peeling off the walls in both the bathroom and bedroom. The air conditioning just barely kept the heat and humidity at bay. The bed was just OK. Ditto for the pillows.

A pitiful breakfast was brought to the room each morning. (A small amount of coffee, a few media lunas, jam, butter, and a small glass of orange juice each.)

All in all, it was a U$80 room for U$120; not worth the price. One could do better elsewhere.
