Krista Hotel Boutique is the best boutique hotel in Buenos Aires. I live in Buenos Aires and was looking for a place for my 7 family members to stay. Magazines or tourist guides talked about such as Home or 5 cool rooms--but when I checked them out 5 cool rooms was stark, had 15 rooms, and the staff was unpleasant. Malabia was a bit noisy and with more rooms.

In comparison with Krista---friendly staff that called me and my family by our names, made every accomodation and courtesy. Anything that we requested they were so happy to do for us. Quiet location. Delicious breakfast.

Elegant decor--the place is the converted mansion of Evita´s former doctor! Historical architectural features and the room decor was so beautifully coordinated, each room with a decorative theme.

Not to mention that there is a group of 4 rooms in the back with a private hallway, patio, sunroom, and door. I booked all 4 rooms for my family and it was like having our own little house.

We loved Krista, my family felt welcome, and it felt homey, safe, comfortable, and the perfect way to get to know Buenos Aires. It is surrounded by wonderful restaurants, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes directly to the center of the city. Located in Palermo Hollywood, close to trendy Plaza Serrano too where are the clubs and clothing boutiques are.

It is an old house completely restored with excellent atmoshpere, great service and in one of the most fancy neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires.

Peaceful and very familiar is the best choice for those who doesn`t like a big property with " mirror and golden decoration" all over the place.

I strongly reccomend this excelent inn .

Whilst I can understand how people fall for the charm of this place the reality is somewhat different,this place is noisy !Due to the layout of the interior courtyards sound travels a long way and EVERY kind of sound can be heard,laundry 'service' is poor things came back crumpled and more than the odd sock went missing.Despite this the area is great and the staff are charming and helpful.If you are looking for total peace and quiet look elsewhere.

Krista is located in a fantastic midpoint between Palermo Soho (shopping) and Palermo Hollywood (eating). It's easy to walk between the two on Honduas and there are also plenty of taxis running around to flag down.

The hotel is one of those cool buildings you see with a small, nondescript front that just extends further and further through various courtyards and rooms. It's easy to imagine a wealthy family living here 100 years ago. Rooms are a good blend of antique and modern as shown on the website. They all seem to open to one of the courtyards, but unfortunately do not have individual temperature controls. Our room was fine, but the our friends' was blazing hot.

Breakfast was pretty standard and the whole place was very low-key in comparison to some of the other Palermo hotels with pools and resto-bars.
