We couldn't have asked for more comfortable, beautiful accommodations in Palermo. I was originally concerned about the size of the hotel, since I'm uncomfortable in B&B type accommodations (hate feeling like I'm staying in someone's house!). But the Krista provided great privacy and was intimate without being uncomfortable.
The hotel itself is impeccably restored. The series of courtyards, stained glass entryways and skylights, provide a unique, authentic atmosphere, and we loved how our room (#7) had giant windows overlooking an outdoor patio at the back of the hotel.
The bedding and bed were new and as comfortable as a Westin
We originally were going to stay at Home, which is right around the corner, but they were booked. We ended up going to Home for a drink by their pool one day, and were very happy we stumbled upon the Krista instead. Home is ultra slick and cool, but honestly could very well be in SoHo in NYC, where we live, which kinda defeats the purpose of leaving the country!
