My wife and I stayed at the Krista Hotel and it was absolutely amazing! Couldnt have asked for anything more. We felt very safe in the hotel. The staff was excelent as they went above and beyond our expectations. They ordered us pizza to our room, they scheduled a trip to a futbol match, and a polo match. The helped us book our rooms in colonia for the next two nights. The breakfast was great every morning. They would serve it to us in bed if we wanted. The property was beautiful and a very convenient part of Palermo Hollywood. Tons of restraunts nearby including Miranda (our favorite) and La Cabrera (our second favorite) which were both recomended by the hotel. I've seen complaints on here about small rooms, they werent huge, but they werent small. You only sleep there anyway. No complaints and would recomend to everyone. We stayed for five nights.

I just returned from a 10 day stay at Krista and have nothing but great things to say about my visit. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of there way to make recommendations and reservations for me. The rooms and common areas we meticulously clean and the neighborhood is right in the middle of all the hotspots. I highly recommend the Krista and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krista. We stayed in the suite which was quite spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and actually introduced us to things about BA that we would have never figured out on our own. Great restaurants and shopping is in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at the Krista for four days in early April. The property is cool and interesting, the location really is great, the room was small (even after upgrading above 'standard') but pretty comfortable, and breakfast was nice. However, there is absolutely NO noise buffer. We heard everyone coming in and out, traipsing through the atriums, loudly locking, unlocking, and slamming doors... we could even clearly hear guests in their bathroom next door. And our room was pretty far back-- I imagine it would be even louder towards the front, where the reception desk is buzzed (day and night) every time a guest wants to enter the front door. Maybe this goes with the territory when staying in an "authentic" former residence, but I much prefer the privacy afforded at a hotel. Also, while smoking is not allowed in the rooms themselves, guests are encouraged to light up in the atriums and foyers, and the smoke goes directly into the adjacent rooms. The Krista staff was relatively helpful when we asked their assistance but definitely didn't go out of their way to be solicitous. All in all, it's not the worst place I've ever stayed, but we definitely wouldn't go back.
