My wife and I had the privilege to stay at Teresita’s Bed and Breakfast for a total of eight days. Teresita’s B & B is located in Adrogue, a suburb of Buenos Aires, about 25 minutes by train from Constitucion station. The location met our needs perfectly because Adrogue is a quiet little town with lots of amenities, such as internet cafes (some with WiFi) and good restaurants. Also, the quaint, delightful cabin situated in Teresita’s back yard was probably much more enjoyable than anything available downtown.
Teresita and her family are fabulous people. Teresita gave us much of her personal time – more than required of her - to provide directions and information about Buenos Aires, find a hair salon, arrange boat tickets to Uruguay and much more. Moreover, we were fortunate to have visiting members of her family include us in their activities. We celebrated New Years Eve with them and on another day, experienced a home-cooked parrilla.
Our stay at Teresita’s Bed and Breakfast truly enriched our stay in Argentina. (Teresita y Raul, gracias por todo!)

My fiance and I stayed at Teresita at the end of our 3 week trip around Argentina and we could not have chosen a more wonderful location to chill out before coming home. Having chosen Teresita as we wanted a change from the hustle and bustle of BA, the location is even more wonderful than the photos portray. We received a lovely warm welcome from Teresa after a hassle free transfer and the guesthouse was in a beautiful garden setting and contained everything we could have needed. Teresa gave us lots of advice and directions for getting around the charming town and even arranged a salon appoinment and a lesson at the local tango school which we thoroughly enjoyed. My only regret was not being able to stay longer here and would recommend that anyone considering a trip to BA should stay here, its a real gem

  • Liked — genuine warmth and hospitality
  • Disliked — that we only stayed for two nights
  • Tips/Secrets: — have a tango lesson!!!

I just returned last week from a four day stay at Teresita B&B in Adrogue, a lovely suburb of Buenos Aires. This is a gem of a place for those willing to commute into the city center. Tere and her husband, Raul, the owners, are kind, warm, intelligent and great natives of Buenos Aires, to be around during a stay. I had a wonderful time talking and relaxing with them in the restful backyard of their home. The town of Adrogue is very homey and easy to get around. Teresita is very helpful if you need direction on where to go and how to get somewhere. I found the train from Adrogue to BA so simple and very inexpensive. Reservations and communications were a breeze via email. The cottage was comfortable, clean and peaceful. Tere's daily continental style breakfast is delicious. Buddha, their neighbor, is also great company and I recommend his services for transfers to and from the airport. Great people, a beautiful setting near a fascinating metropolis - need I say more. I had a wonderful time. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Teresita's B&B is a truly lovely property, located in Adrogue, a picturesque and affluent suburb southwest of BA. Its hostess, Teresita, is friendly, energetic, and very helpful. She made many tourist itinerary suggestions, called upon her extensive network of friends to help with reservations, took us leatherwork shopping at a nearby factory, and even came to the rescue when one of us left her debit card in an ATM (oops). The B&B casita is very comfortable, with a terrific bathroom, and quite private. Breakfasts are tasty and healthy, if not elaborate, and take place in Teresita's large attractive kitchen where she bakes bread, makes jam, and generally directs traffic. The walk to and from the town center, where train station and direct city minivan stop are located, is short, easy, and filled with interesting houses to look at. The train ride is about 45 minutes to Constitution Station, one of BA's two main stations; and the minivans take about an hour to and from Teatro Colon, near the Obelisk. Both forms of transportation are very inexpensive. A taxi ride will cost about 50 argentine pesos/$15 U.S. - this is necessary after 12:30 am. For a week's stay, we found that this B&B cost about half of what comparable city B&B's seemed to be charging - so we decided that we did not mind joining the locals in their morning commute! But if you are consistently a late-nighter, or averse to mass transportation, the taxi costs might negate the lodging savings. Anyhow, we were both very happy to have selected Teresita's B&B as our "honeymoon hotel" and highly recommend it to other travellers. AW & MR, Cleveland Hts, Ohio, USA

My best friend and I visited Buenos Aires back in August. We booked at Teresita B&B. Although it is very difficult to guess how really a place looks when you are booking online, we went with our gut feelings and we booked for a week. We read all the reviews posted on trip advisor to make our decision. We concluded that Teresita B&B had exactly what we were looking for.
What a surprise when we arrived! - this place is absolutely beautiful with a stunning garden full of wild orchids! (I actually grow orchids, so we had long conversations with Teresita).
I highly recommend Teresita B&B.
