“what a great find!”

Teresita Bed & Breakfast

Feb 17, 2008

Like other reviews here indicate, I was looking forward to staying at Teresita's, but couldn't imagine that it could live up to the reviews. Yet it did! It was an unbelievably tranquil setting in a spectacular garden. We found it hard to get ourselves to the city because we wanted to just sit in the garden and relax. Better yet was the spaciousness of the room and all the extras (fridge, great towels, wonderful breakfast, etc) for such a reasonable rate. And, the town that Teresita's is in is such a neat area. I wish I had more days to spend just enjoying the town center with all its great restaurants and shops. My only concern was if I needed to take a cab back from BA late in the evening (we were there over New Year's), and found the cab rate very reasonable and much less than I would spend in the states for a much shorter distance. Teresita's is the most memorable part of my visit to BA.

“Enjoyed Teresita's Cooking Classes”

After reading lots of reviews on this Bed and Breakfast my expectations were high - and they were definitely met. We chose to stay here primarily because of the cooking classes - and they were great! My husband and I took all seven classes over our eight day stay. By doubling up on classes we still had four full days for sightseeing. And Teresita reheated our cooking class foods for two dinners in her lovely back yard. That's also where we enjoyed breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit and yogurt and dulce de leche crepes. The Barbeque Class was great fun - and lasted all day - the wine flowed freely. We were the only participants for four of the classes, and in the other classes two and three others joined us. Lots of personal attention. My husband has all ready recreated two of the menus at home! Budha was most accommodating with his driver service. We also made use of the train and subway into downtown Buenos Aires. We enjoyed the small town of Adroque, and were content just to explore the shops and read and relax in the garden on a couple of days. Thanks to Teresita, her husband and Budha we had a great stay, and would love to return sometime.

We have just returned from a 5 nights stay at Teresita's. We were happy to book the cottage away from the city. Her driver Bhudda (a wonderful gentleman) met us at the cruise pier and took us to the cottage where Teresita warmly greeted us. She directed us to the lovely well appointed and comfortable cottage in a tropical setting, and by a cute little pool. Her dog Tiny was very friendly with us during our entire stay. Teresita served us a delicious breakfast outdoors every morning and helped us with directions to local restaurants and transportation to the city. Bhudda took us on a full day tour of BA- what a city. We went by train and subway (very inexpensive) two other days to visit more and do some shopping. We were happy with our decision to stay here and would recommend it to all travellers who don't mind the distance to the city and who wish to have a peace and quiet setting. Thank you Teresita and Raul.

Found Teresita's bed and breakfast through trip advisor and couldn't wait to get there. Went to Buenos Aires with my son on a travel package and wanted to extend my stay. Wasn't sure where I wanted to stay and was really excited by all the great reviews that Teresita's got. I contacted her to find out if it would be available for my extended stay and booked immediately for 6 nights and a cooking class. Teresita and Raul were wonderful. I fell in love with their very well behaved dog, Tiny. She and I would play hide and seek in the yard while my son slept. The property was clean and comfortable. Teresita was a great hostess and was always available when we needed something such as hot water (for mate), a converter (to charge our camera), knitting lessons, cooking lessons, clean towels, and advice on places to visit or eat. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Buenos Aires. If you do stay there, tell them Margaret and Michael said "hi" and Michael never finished knitting his scarf.

“Perfect Choice”

Teresita Bed & Breakfast

I found Teresita's B&B through TravelAdvisor.com and am so
glad! It was the perfect option for me and my daughter. The
guest house is charming, very comfortable, clean and private.
The area is beautifully lined with trees and all kinds of flowers
and greenery; it was a pleasure to walk to the local shops.
Although it is located about 40 minutes from downtown, the
private taxi service provided by Buda was fantastic, as were the
tour services. The breakfast was delicious, and we took cooking
lessons also. Teresita is a marvelous host and we recommend
it highly.
