Upon turning 40 I decided somewhat at the last minute to book a trip to Buenos Aires. I'd read the rave reviews in one of my favorite design magaines [Domino] and the trip advisor reviews and pretty much decided it would be between this and one other place.
I decided to go with Home because of all the amenities it offered onsite. As I would be traveling alone having a place where everything was so accessible was of real importance.
I am in the travel industry therefore I know firsthand how easy it is to 'make or break' a stay anywhere. And 'HOME' positively knows best how to make you fall madly in love with them and their totally engaging city. The front staff of the hotel [Cecelia, Gabriella, Valentin and Lucas] are outstanding. Every restaurant recommendation given to me was EXCELLENT. Always there to assist in anyway they can. They take so much pride in the hotel and it's atmosphere. Paola in the bar is another one of my new best friends. She singlehandedly made sure I got a real Tango experience at a local joint. As a matter, the entire bar staff is excellent and they make you want to linger. Housekeeping is impeccable, room looks brand new every single day.
Although the spa was under renovation during my stay [I took a tour and it is beautiful] I had an in-room treatment that was wonderful. They literally brought spa to me!
The lobby with interesting books, free internet access and very cool mod look makes the entire experience from the time you walk in the door just so inviting and wonderful.
Oh, and the owners of the hotel make you want to wrap them up and make carbon copies. What a charming and brilliant couple. Having them on the premises is the icing on the cake.
Home Hotel is a first-rate stay!
