We spent four days at home as a second part of our recent sightseeing trip to BA.

The location is in the "newer" part of Palermo, Hollywood with lots of nice shops (check out the amazing bookshop/cafe on Honduras justa couple of blocks away!), and dozens of restaurants/bars to choose from. If you are only staying a couple of days and want tp use your hotel to do your sightseeing, this is probably not an ideal hotel as the main attractionsare relatively far away (i.e., a 20-minute taxi ride, albeit an inexpensive one). Since we have done our bit of seeing the Centre, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Retiro and we just wanted to focus more on relaxing, the location was perfect for us.

We have booked the brand-new Pool Side Suite which is mind blowing. If you're a design buff (and chances are you are) you will love the French wallpaper and retro Scandi furniture. It is not cheap, but a similar suite in Europe would fetch you way more.

Staff, bar and reception as well as spa are all very helpful- this includes the owners-I wanted to charge my Ipod and Tom called within ten minutes. The pool is small but perfect for a little cooling in the summer heat, the bar food (particularly their lomo sandwich) is superb- and you should not miss the Friday night when DJ-s mix while you are sipping cocktails.

All in all- we would go back TOMORROW!

Home is an excellent boutique hotel in the up and coming Palermo Hollywood barrio. The rooms are very spacious with bath & shower in ours. There is a decent sized pool and sun-lounger area serviced by the very friendly (and quite gorgeous) bar staff. The bar is also great for sundowner cocktails.
The free internet access is a bonus and the reception staff will happily recharge your IPod.

The local area is very safe with loads of great bars and restaurants (ask reception for hints and new places).

I would be happy to live out my life at Home,

This was our second time at Home, and we were glad to be back. We stayed for three nights, then used it as a base to stopover in BA between side trips. They allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel so we could just take a smaller suitcase each time. The staff was always friendly and helped with everything from making reservations to giving suggestions on shopping areas, restaurants, etc. Location is great in Palermo and within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The bar at home, especially on Fridays is worth sticking around for their delicious "sakis" martini.

Keep in mind:

-It has become increasingly popular, and the hotel was booked to capacity, so make sure you make your reservations several months in advance!

Just got back from two weeks in Argentina and Uruguay, and the Home Hotel was far and away the best place we stayed.

Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished, with a view into the interior courtyard, which made the room sunny, but quiet. We were there for four nights, and it provided an ideal oasis from the business of Buenos Aires. The garden/bar/pool area was a great place to spend a few hours relaxing before heading out again for a busy evening.

The standout thing about the Home Hotel is the staff. Everyone was genuinely helpful and really wanted us to enjoy our stay as much as possible. They provided great advice about what to do (e.g. which tango show or jazz club to go to) and helped with reservations at the drop of a hat.

I would definitely stay there again, and recommend the Home Hotel very highly.
