If you stay in Buenos Aires, we can't recommend enough that this is the place to stay!
Staff are friendly & efficient at all times (including prior to our arrival - thank you Sonia on the front desk).
A warm, smiley welcome awaits. Decor is minimalist, tasteful & creates a very serene & restful ambiance - most welcome when returning after a day's sightseeing.
Try the spa, especially on arrival after a very long flight (best massage ever by Cintia) - most welcome.
The staff make you feel that absolutely nothing is too much trouble and they are there to please - if there was an award for asking the most questions, we would have won it. And yet they still seemed sorry to see us leave! The front desk were a great help in ensuring we had a good experience in BA.
The breakfasts are original and absolutely delicious - missing them! And as for the cocktails - mmm!! Ali makes it a fascination to watch a master at work as he creates the drinks and with his sidekick, Christian, they both provide great service and great company too. Early evenings & the end of nights are not the same now! Delicious tapas too - sometimes it was hard to drag ourselves out!
But the neighbourhood boasts fab restaurants - we have never eaten so well for 7 consecutive nights. Loved Casa Cruz, Bar Uriarte, Azema & Mott.
In summary, after 7 nights we were sorry to leave Home.
This was our best hotel experience ever - it's more like staying with very helpful friends. Don't change!!
Cheers!!

Best hotel experience my wife and I have had in years. MASSIVE value here. If you're looking for a cool, hip place to stay, look no further. The attention to detail here is on par with The Four Seasons or the Ritz. The rooms are more than comfortable and stylish. Concierge service at the front desk was amazing. If you you appreciate modern, in vogue aesthetics and decor, Home has you covered. The lobby hosts a small library of off the path things to do in BA that you won't find in Fromers or Time Out. Home also boasts a neat bar that cranks out drinks under a backdrop of cool beats. The courtyard features an infinity pool and a great space to chill during the day or at night. It's no surprise U2 chilled here after one of their shows. The bartenders mix up delectable cocktails and Chrisian and his counterpart (who's name escapes me) are very friendly, fun, and know the area well. We had a couple of great restaurant and club recommendations from them. The owner's are close by and keep a watchful eye on things. Home is located centrally in Palermo, home to the best nightlife in the city and is in walking distance from tons of spectacular restaurants, bars and clubs. Home also has a terrific spa where you can pamper yourself at a tremendous value. When I return to BA, I won't think of staying anywhere else. Just a great place. Free WiFi too.

I definety recommed to stay at Home hotel, having travelled many times to BsAs for business this is a great option. Why?
1. It is located in one of the coolest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, walking distance from hip restaurants and boutiques. This is also a safe walking zone, aprox. 10-15 minutes from downtown (in car).
2. Service is always helpful, they recommend me great restaurants in the area and responded quickly to my needs (taxi cabs, info about the spa, messages, etc). There is a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel.
3.Rooms are small but functional, comfortable bed, nice mini bar, big mirror. No luxuries only savy functionality. Internet service free of charge in the room.

So this is the typical nice, pretty and affordable place. Highly recommended for youg couples no kids, group of friends and cool grandpas. I cannot think of something negative about the hotel!

If this hotel is all booked or want a more cozy atmosphere try Malabia House (great option too!)

Sorry to hear about the guest from SFO's problems with the noise, my experience was within days but I had the opposite experience.

The hotel did inform me ahead of time of the construction and advised I could cancel if I wished. Of course, I didn't as they said the noise would start at around 8:30 am and would not be a problem if I was going to beakfast at the hotel at tour the city. Yes, on Saturday the noise was bothersome as I wanted to sleep in a bit, but again the hotel offered to move me to another room.

I agree that in all areas (front desk, breakfast, bar, spa and security) everyone was genuinely friendly and very helpful. With a hotel as trendy as Home, I anticipated a little attitude from the staff, but experienced nothing but warmth.

Things that stood out:

- Excellent spa. I did the jet lag package which was wonderful.
- Don't miss the breakfast. You get a basic continental offering as part of the room rate with options for eggs and other dishes. Most days I was fine with the continental and really enjoyed the different juice combinations each day. I also loved the different butter and spreads that changed each day. They went well with the croissants & rolls.
- Drinks at the bar: again, there were some very unique drinks and tapas (appetizers) offered in the bar. They were a little expensive compared to the rest of Buenos Aires, but still reasonable considering the hotel location and quality.
- The location. We could have spent many days just exploring the different Palermo areas without venturing into the other neighborhoods. Palermo has some of the best shops, restaurants and overall walking & exploring areas to rival European cities.
- Safety: while it's apparent there is crime in Buenos Aires, I felt safe in the neighborhood using common sense. Home always had a security guard at the door who keeps an eye on everyone who enters the hotel.
- Design: the Home has been featured in many magazines and you can tell why. Fans of contemporary design will appreciate the elements of glass, dark wood, polished concrete, floral prints and a beautiful garden/pool area. Add in high quality shower & bath fixtures with Home's own bath products and you've got a great combo.

This hotel/hostile could be the worst accomodations I have ever seen.
The hotel staff is rude, the accomodations are awful and the staff is uninformed of B.A.
I checked in with my wife, saw my room and checked-out 15 minutes later and booked a different hotel. They charged me for that night but I didn't mind because I just wanted to get out of this place.
Beware of Homes!
