We were met by two doors and no sign. As the cab pulled away we still were not sure that we had found the right place....a knock on the door proved that we did!
Once we arrived and got inside, we felt like more than just guests. Lujan greeted us, showed us around (explaining that beer, wine and soft drinks were available in the fridge and to just write down what we had) and told us of all the events going on in the neighbourhood. She was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
Had 103 Suite Principal as our room and it was great. Very large bathroom, nice room and directly off of the courtyard. A fridge in the room made it very easy to bring our own refreshments back at the end of a day.
Many guests were staying here and in Buenos Aires strictly for the Tango. While sitting around at breakfast talking with other guests you got the sense that everyone was really enjoying their stay at Lina's (and that she knew all the best tango spots).
We met Lina the second day and found her to be very hospitable with a warm personality. While not intrusive, she was always on hand for anything you might need.
Our final night had Lina escorting 9 guests of hers to a local social club for a fantastic (and inexpensive) night of dinner, wine and dancing. Clearly an experience that nobody would have had without Lina showing the way.
A wonderful place in a terrific neighbourhood and place that I would love to return to.
