“Good for getting ingredients”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

It's not really a Chinatown as such...it's BA for gods sake but the supermarkets there have a great selection of fresh fish & loads of cuts of fresh pork if you are sick of beef. They also have a array of Asian sauces & condiments plus fresh herbs that are otherwise hard to get in South America. I'm about to make a Tom yum soup & banh mai roll with what I got today...SCORE!!!!

“Doesn't compare to Chinatowns in the States”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

If your primary concern is finding good asian restaurants, then yes, there are a plethora of options (Hong Kong Style is the best option in my view). But if you're looking for the atmosphere and the place on the corner to buy steamed dumplings from a hole-in-the wall window, it doesn't exist. There is a torii gate and also a nice market with asian food but if you want to do some serious shopping there, find a time when it's not crowded. I've only been on the weekends and the market is always so crowded and unpleasant.

Nice places where you can find lots of things to use or eat if you know what are you looking for. The supermarkets are really big and quite organized. Also you can find some good chinese food here for sure!!

“Very Small and Very Nice”

A very small asian neighborhood with lots of great food, stores and culture. Worth a visit if you are in Belgrano!
