We only spent one night at Soler Solar, but we really enjoyed it. The location is excellent, because Palermo is a very hip and trendy neighborhood, with great shops, restaurants, and nightlife, all very close to the B&B. Also the subway is a short walk, and the area is safe, residential, really lovely. We found some very good bakeries not far from the hotel, including one at the end of calle Fitzroy, before the intersection with Santa Fe.
The B&B is beautiful. It has a very attractive living room, warm and welcoming, with antiques, very clean and well kept. The kitchen is nice, big, very clean, and you can help yourself to juices and more. We booked last minute, and they gave us what they described as the least attractive of their rooms, facing the patio, but it was a lovely room instead! It was large, with a big and comfortable bed, elegant decorations, antique furniture and a nice armoire, terracotta floors, a/c, a large window, as well as a modern, very clean bathroom. The room was very quiet and it faced their beautiful patio.
The breakfast was good and generous, with fresh juice, croissants, cheese, fruit, coffee, and was served in their living room.
The staff was extremely nice, they gave us tips on things to do in Palermo, arranged for our cab to go to the airport, and, most important, let us use the room until we left to the airport, which was around 7pm, and it was great not having to vacate the room at the regular check out time.
I would highly recommend this b&b it really felt like home, I only wish we had spent more time there!
