Nice Bed and Breakfast in Palermo, the new "cool" part of Buenos Ayres, a few blocks away from the part where most shops, resturants and bars are.
The B&B is nice, clean and comfortable.
The common part is very cute and you really feel at home.
the best part of all is the staff: kind, nice, caring and helping.
All the suggestion they gave us were simply perfect, the help they gave in reserving and identifying places a true delight.

Only remark, the small room are really quite small, so it is better to ask for larger ones (much better value for the higher money asked) and not on the side of the street (not ta huge traffic, but a truck at night may be enough to wake you up). Rating (extremely high anyways) would have been 5 stars if I could have changed my room with one of those, think that I couldn't do as the B&B was full - book in advance!

I have emails to confirm this. My fiancee and I reserved for November 2006 with this B&B, following their requested procedures, following up with phone calls, giving them our credit card information.

Then, just days before our arrival in BA - WHILE we were in Patagonia, they emailed to say that they were afraid they "could not honor our reservation." They'd clearly blown us off, giving the rooms to someone who wanted the rooms for a longer period of time.

They said they'd booked rooms for us at another B&B and gave us the name and number, but that B&B never called us or emailed us back.

The Solar Soler B&B is a charming B&B located in the heart of Palermo Hollywood. The absolute best thing about this bed and breakfast is its location. As other reviews have mentioned you have a multitude of restaurants, bars and shops all within close walking distance. The neighborhood is also very safe. The staff are very friendly and helpful and while we found the rooms a bit small, the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Right around the corner there is also a place for helado (ice cream) called Bacio - delicious!

This is a cute B&B which aims to please. They are located on a quiet street in Palermo which is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, nightlife and the subway but not too close to be loud all the time. The staff is very attentive and provide a lot of information on the city and attractions. Local calls are free as well as internet (only one computer in the hotel). The rooms are small but well maintained and have air-conditioning. It is important to confirm your reservation in advance as they lost ours and we had to do quite a bit of reshuffling. They have an outdoor patio space and a sun-deck, which are ideal to sharing a bottle of Malbec.
