We recently spent Christmas at this hotel and on the whole had a great time.
Unfortunatley I can´t give this hotel quite as good a review as I´d like, as sadly the thin walls rather let this place down. It also lacks any comfy chillout areas, and if you want some fresh air you have to go to a nearby park.
This hotel was the most money we´d spent on accomodation in a year away from home, and going on other reviews we had rather high expectations of it, which sadly the hotel didn´t really deliver on.
The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are very modern and comfortable, we loved the electronic curtains (watchout though the blackout one will have you sleeping really late if you have no alarm to wake you!), and we had no problems with the bathrooms either. However saying the walls are thin is an understatement!! We actually got moved round a little bit so sampled 3 rooms all of which we found unacceptable noise wise. Due to connectining doors you can hear everything the people next door do (even if they whisper!) and if you´re unfortunate enough to end up in a smoking room as a non-smoker next doors fumes nicely come under the ajoining door too!
The breakfast was amazing though, there is hot and cold to suit all with great tea and coffee. And the staff are very helpful. Mind you the bar does close at 11pm which is strange as the rest of the city is only just waking up then!!
All in all I´d say this was an OK place for a few days, but if you´re a flashpacker thinking of blowing a little budget on it I´d say save your cash for somewhere else.
