My husband and I (both in our mid-20s) stayed at the BoBo on our honeymoon in March of 2007 and spent 2 nights in the Argentina Suite. We found the hotel to be a wonderfully restored old townhouse, complete with elevator. The room was well appointed with the large bath area being the highlight of the room and also enjoyed the small balcony overlooking the street below. The continental breakfast was a nice touch in the mornings.

The location was ideal for us - even after moving to another hotel in Recoleta we kept finding ourselves coming back to Palermo to eat, shop, and wander around the local galleries. The staff were all top-notch and took care of all of our dining reservations in advance for us and were happy to provide us with local maps.

The only aspect of the BoBo we didn't care for was the computer in the dining room area. Granted we used it only to notify our family of our whereabouts, but it was a bit disconcerting to realize anyone could potentially see the computer screen.

We highly recommend the hotel, and we felt it was well-priced for what you receive. We would stay here in the future.

My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights at the Bobo Hotel in June and would recommend this to anyone/everyone. Some overall thoughts:

Location - is great, in Palermo and allows you to spend more time in a cool area that you normally may not see as much of. Great restaurants and good nightlife around here.

Amenities - fantastic as well. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is included and features a nice complimentary menu to choose from. The bar/restaurant and outdoor patio have a cool, trendy design and you each get a free drink during your stay.

Staff - Unbelievable. They all speak English, provide all necessary recommendations, book all reservations and are one of the best parts of this hotel. The reservations they had us eat at were fantastic and took us to the "real" neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and out of the tourist traps.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone and is one of our favorite if not the favorite hotel we stayed at through our travels in Europe, the US and S. America. If you are like us and in your mid 20s to early 30s we highly recommend spending the extra money for this hotel.

My husband and I recently spent seven nights at the BoBo Hotel for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Minimalist room for two nights before departing for Iguazu Falls, and returned to the Argentian Suite for 5 nights.

Our overall experience at BoBo was fantastic. The rooms are spacious, as clean or cleaner than many US hotels we've stayed in, and the decor is very modern, yet comfortable. The Minimalist room has a very private patio complete with two padded wooden chairs, a table, and lush plants and palm trees. The Argentinian suite is even more spacious with three main rooms - the bedroom with a work desk and a television built into the wall, the bathtub and sink area with a jacuzzi tub and double ceramic bowl sinks, and the restroom and shower area which included a steam shower and a functional porthole window in the shower, opening up to the patio. The housekeeping staff took care of us - ironed our clothes just outside our room upon request, and left a weather forecast note on our pillow every evening for the following day.

Even though there are only seven rooms at the hotel, the ratio of staff members to guests must be something like 5 to 1. Upon check in we were greeted by Vanessa, who gave us a 10-minute orientation to our neighborhood, Palermo Soho. She oriented us to the main shopping areas, restaurant districts, and local attractions. The restaurant wait staff was more attentive than many fine dining restaurants we've experienced in the US. And the bartenders were great. I enjoyed a cocktail every evening in the bar, and even tried out some experimental drinks the bartender was trying out.

All in all, BoBo felt very much like home to us, and we vowed to always stay there when we visited Buenos Aires. In a bustling city full of surprises, it was wonderful to come home every night to a consistently comfortable and welcoming space to sleep, relax, dine and feel like locals.

My wife and I stayed in Bobo in early-to-mid May. When we travel we prefer to stay in boutique hotels, and Bobo ranks as one of our favorites. The staff was unbelievably helpful. The breakfast was very
good. There was one night where we were tired and wanted to stay in, so we ate dinner at the restaurant, which was also very good. If you have ever travelled to Buenos Aires, you know that there is a lull of activity in the evening where the city is kind of dead. During a couple of these times, we sat at the bar, and the bartender was great. He knew what he was doing and took a lot of pride in his mixology, making several off-the-cuff drinks that were very good. This was a great hotel, and if we make it back to Buenos Aires, we will make Bobo our hotel of choice again.

I stayed in three different rooms while I was at the BoBo and they were all tastefully decorated, spacious and super clean. The Argentinian Room was amazing- highly recommend this one for a romantic getaway. The food was terrific, the staff friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again if in Buenos Aires. The Palermo Viejo neighborhood was full of great restaurants and shops all within walking distance.
