Were happy by the end of our stay, but had lots of start up problems when we first arrived.
We were 4 ladies, each staying in our own room, due to the accurate reviews we had read about the very small size of the rooms and bathrooms - the rates were so reasonable, we decided to splurge for solo accommodations. But the room on the top floor where one of us was placed had no hot water and a malfunctioning shower, the staff simply wouldn't move her to another room, kept trying to "fix" the problem and finally on our 3rd night admitted that the hot water on the top floor always seemed problematic. Finally, we were shifted to another floor. CAUTION about the top floor rooms.

Liked the location, the reasonable price, the spare but nice decor of the rooms, the art in the lobby, the youthful feeling of the hotel - we were there on and off for a total of 6-7 nights, so staff got to know us and were helpful when it came to restaurant recommendations, taxi calls, etc.

The location of the Art Hotel was the selling point for booking there, but the helpfulness of the staff and the value rates (with the help of Argentina's still-troubled economy) will bring us back. The staff was friendly and quick with good recommendations for dinner and a tango show, and they gladly held our luggage until our evening plane departure. The art gallery in the lobby is a pleasant alternative, and the whole place was cool on a blazingly hot day.

Kudos to Eduardo Casazza for maintaining the most ELEGANT boutique hotel, in the BEST LOCATION, and at the BEST PRICE in Buenos Aires. From the minute you enter, this EXCEPTIONAL staff make you feel as though you are "coming home" to an elegant townhouse filled with art and fresh flowers.
I would highly recommend contacting Patricia at www.livingyourspanish.com and visit San Antonio de Areco for a "gaucho and estancia" tour. I agree with the other reviewer who states that IF you are complaining about the size of the rooms- you are spending too much timein the room.

Great hotel in a great location. You really can not beat the rates here. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but big enough. The staff is very helpful and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay here.
