Our travel agent made the hotel arrangements and Aspen Suites was the hotel selected. Location is good but at night you can feel somewhat isolated but we walked the streets and in general it was safe. It is close to all major attractions in the “microeentro” and 2-3 blocks from Florida Street. Reception ara is small staff is good, not excellent; some do their work well but not very friendly depending on the day shift. There is no restaurant in the premises and the vending machine was not working most of the time we stayed there. Breakfast was very limited and the area gets very crowded during peak hours close to 10 am. The elevators are very old and there is space for 2-3 persons without luggage, are noisy and very slow. The first night we got a very ugly room, not well furnished room with a worn out carpet and smelly. The bathroom faucets were not working well. We asked for a room change and our room condition markedly improved in all senses. There was no safe in the room but the hotel provides this service in the lobby area. I recognized this is a very tourist low budget hotel but I will stay somewhere else in our next trip to Buenos Aires.
