I stayed 3 nights at this hotels in march 2007. The hotel was in a good location, the breakfast was good ( the restaurant is small but ok). My room was very big ,2 beds,a table with 4 chairs,a small kitchen will all the suplays, sofa, closet . The bathroom is very old. The lift is old and small like other guests said and sometimes was not working what was a problem for me because i was in a high floor.
The recepcionists were ok. Not very kind with some guests. They were snob sometimes and not serious enough to treat guests.
Was strange make me leave an amount of money in the checkin. I've never been at a hotel that ask me to leave a credit card number or 40 dolares like a fund, and return after my stay. Everything was paid and i think it's not correct to the guests.
It's good enough, not that cheap for what they offer , but not the worse because sometimes in Buenos Aires you arrive at a hotel and have a terrible surprise, dirty rooms, old bathroons and dirty . The hospitallity industry seens to be very bad over there. The have to increse to compete with other countries like Chile and Brasil.

The hotel is not what I expected. The room is ok, but the heating system is awful and we had some difficult to finally have a good shower. One day we left our cellular at the room and when we got back, it had disappeared. The staff said we had to use the safe, but as a matter of fact this point was a bad aspect for us. The breakfast is quite simple and the people working were always in a bad mood. The elevator is tiny and always take a lot of time to arrive. Finally, the gym had a lot of thinks broken. For the price we paid, we believed it was not worthy.

“Aspen Suites”

Our travel agent made the hotel arrangements and Aspen Suites was the hotel selected. Location is good but at night you can feel somewhat isolated but we walked the streets and in general it was safe. It is close to all major attractions in the “microeentro” and 2-3 blocks from Florida Street. Reception ara is small staff is good, not excellent; some do their work well but not very friendly depending on the day shift. There is no restaurant in the premises and the vending machine was not working most of the time we stayed there. Breakfast was very limited and the area gets very crowded during peak hours close to 10 am. The elevators are very old and there is space for 2-3 persons without luggage, are noisy and very slow. The first night we got a very ugly room, not well furnished room with a worn out carpet and smelly. The bathroom faucets were not working well. We asked for a room change and our room condition markedly improved in all senses. There was no safe in the room but the hotel provides this service in the lobby area. I recognized this is a very tourist low budget hotel but I will stay somewhere else in our next trip to Buenos Aires.

The hotel location is just perfect! I've been for 5 times already in Buenos Aires and good location is one of the most important advantages of a hotel in Buenos Aires.
The place is nice and clean, and the rooms are confortable and spacious (Bed is great!). Obviously, if you are looking for luxury, this is not the proposal of this hotel, which prices are totally fair for what they offer to their guests. The building is old, as the most of buildings in Buenos Aires, but there have been good improvements in the reception area, elevators and bathrooms.
The breakfast is simple, but exactly as in Europe, with croissants, ham, cheese, Milk, Juice, Yogurt and Cereals. Of course is not a continental breakfast, but it's included in the very cheap rate of the rooms.
Staff is great, always helpfull. Everything was just fine during my stay in this hotel.
I am plenty satisfied with this hotel and would stay there again for sure.

“Spacious, Clean, Great Staff - It's at the Aspen Suites”

Aspen Suites Hotel

The Aspen Suites Hotel is an all-suites facility that offers a wide range of rooms from a standard one-room suite to complete one-bedroom apartments. All rooms come with a kitchenette, with the one-bedroom apartments having a full size eat-in kitchen. I stayed in the one-bedroom apartment for a nightly rate of $60 (USD). The apartment was immaculate and quite spacious with plenty of room to spread out, which was important to me since I was staying in BA for 2 weeks and didn't want to be stuck in a small, cramped room for that long. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning, but if you like sleeping in you can just fix your own in the kitchenette. The Aspen Suites also has a gym and sauna. The front desk staff is bilingual and very friendly, willing to help answer any questions you have about the city. The hotel is located in the Microcenter part of BA, and the nearest Subte stop is just several blocks away in either direction. In addition, shopping on Florida Avenue and the Galeria Pacifico Mall are both a 5 minute walk from the hotel. As far as complaints I only have two: the balcony latch was broken and despite several requests, it wasn't repaired until the day before I checked out; and there was virtually no cookware or cooking utensils in the kitchen, which meant I was limited to preparing continental breakfast and cold items for lunch...but considering how cheap it is to dine in BA this did not present that much of a hardship. I recommend the Aspen Suites and will stay there when I visit BA in the future.
