“Supercalifragilisticexpialidotious...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

Breakfast at Sasha is in a category unto itself... The freshly pressed orange juice, the fabulous coffee and the pastries... Wow! Do not miss the croissant aux amandes, the very best on both sides of the Ocean and the other pastries are not far behind. Please ask for a parmesano ham and cheese sandwich... light and tasty bread with lots of ham and cheese... fabulous. Please note that it closes on Sundays...

“INCREDIBLE Cafe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

I'm still in Buenos Aires and have been to Sasha 5 times for breakfasts, lunch and snacks. The food really is to die for. The fresh sandwiches are filling and delicious and the pastries and desserts are incredible. The almond croissant is a must-try!!!! The cafe is super cute, with its pink decor. The service is exceptional as well, really friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go back!

“Worth every calorie!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

First visited Sasha on a packed (as usual) Sunday and bought one large glorious looking Alfajaro.
After the first bite I was hooked. I very often walked the long walk to the Juncal shop and started to go through a huge array of bakery delights one by one.(.In Argentina for 6 weeks) Her scones both savory and sweet are wonderful. I especially like the tight sweet dryish ones. The almond croissants are flakey and fab. Most pastries were rich enough that I cut in half and shared.
There was a circular confection that had raisins and mysteriously a creamy interior. There are places that cost less but are generic. Sasha is worth the price and calories..... I would bring Sasha as a gift to Porteno's home dinners. She has a growing army of devoted fans. The owner is sweet !!! Her father too!!

“Scrumptious!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

By far the best bakery we visited in Buenos Aires. Their almond croissants are rich and yummy. Their regular croissants are light and very flaky. Everything we tried here was absolutely delicious...except for the chocolate croissants. Skip those, but you can't go wrong with anything else. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but worth every peso.

“Almond croissants to die for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We stumbled across this little cafe as we were staying just around the corner. It's an absolute dream for pastry lovers. We went back 3 times we liked it so much. The atmosphere is wonderful and the bakery is to die for. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Excellent service as well - really friendly even as I was butchering Spanish trying to order.
