“Great Food - Amazing Ambience - Good Onda”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Frances, The Lost Asian is pretty awesome. She is a yoga instructor, acupunturist, food blogger and a generally happy person. I've been a fan of the blog for a while.

First off, you walk in, go up the staircase lit with Christmas lights and a giant Japanese cat poster that says bienvenidos (welcome). The ambience once you get in is modern and full cool of Chinese stuff, red lanterns, and Mao propaganda. She is also right in the middle of the room, cooking with her sous chef, Benihana-style.

So right when I sit down I get spicy asian peanuts and did I mention its BYOB? Then the first course is a scallion pancake, followed by a little won ton soup amuse bouche. The veggie spring rolls were gigantic and the Sweet Lady sauce (sweet and sour sauce) was the bomb. Then the tofu dish was spicy, and not argentina spicy but spicy spicy.

The dessert was off the chain. Brownie and lime ice cream. The people were really nice too. I dug it quite a bit. Two thumbs up.

“Great location and delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

This was my first closed door restaurant experience and it was fantastic. The food was delicious-there were lots of Asian flavors, big portions, a good variety of choices. Plus the dessert was amazing. It was particularly nice bc you cant find this type of food at typical restaurants in Argentina.

The atmosphere was also nice-relaxed, open and conducive for group dinners.

The location was also a bonus. You can take the 168 bus and walk 2 blocks and you are there. Its in the heart of Palermo so going out afterwards is easy!
