Very highly recommended. Great food in a beautiful part of the city - historic, spirited, artistic, very European and very charming. We started in an old café with THE BEST fresh empanadas hand made by an 82 year local old woman. Next we moved to a classic parrilla restaurant with full cuts of meat, more sides and plenty of wine. And to top it off, homemade ice cream at a nearby shop - very quaint, very delicious. David, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable in regards to the cuisine, to the culture, and to all aspects of the Buenos Aires community - he was by all means accommodating and full of helpful information. The tour is very well-paced. I felt extremely comfortable with the flow of food and information. Nothing is rushed and the utmost careful attention is paid in order for a complete enjoyment of the dining experience. I would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour to anyone who is interested in good food and wine. I believe, and I suspect many people as well, that the best way to visit a city is to inform and enjoy yourself to the local food scene. This is tour is especially excellent for anyone traveling a few weeks or even a few days because they can recommend a host of other great recommendations outside of the food tour. Essentially it is a perfect way to meet good company and orient yourself to the quality food scene in Buenos Aires. Also I researched their competition - Buenos Aires food tours - and was underwhelmed by the comments/recommendations and experiences they had to offer. Parrilla Tour is the way to go. David is friendly, knowledgeable, laid-back, and understands exactly what it means to provide a quality dining experience.
