My sister and I just returned from our vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina where we stayed at the Claridge Hotel. This hotel is centrally located where you have shoppings, restaurants, banks, etc within walking distance.
All the employees in this hotel are very nice and pleasant to talk, going the extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. They are professional and knowledgeable and the majority speak English.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires and for sure will stay there next time I visit Buenos Aires.

As a seasoned traveler I was very impressed, this is a wonderful boutique hotel, great pricing, I have to give a lot of credit to AAA I booked and had to change my number of hotel days, the pricing had changed and the General Mgr of the Travel Dept at AAA/San Francisco communicated with the Claridge Hotel and changed the price.

The rooms are great, bathrooms are very small but nothing shocking, since this is a big city. We were treated very nice, breakfast was included, very good, except one incident with a rude waitress making us change tables in the middle of our breakfast meal.

The hotel provide us with an Easter surprise! gave us a delicious Easter Egg Chocolate.

Excellent location, try the steak restaurant at the corner, also, try and very good value the masseuse and the pool area. We REALLY recommend the masseuse,,,,,!

We stayed at the Claridge for a week on vacation. The rooms were very nice, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was incredible, and the location can't be beat! What others say about the walls being thin is somewhat true, although we barely heard anything from our neighbors....it's really not any worse than any other hotel...I mean, really, what do you expect?!?!? We used the gym and the spa as well...the massages were great and they were only 30 USD for an hour...a great deal! The staff was very helpful...always helping us find our way around, watching our bags for us, etc. I would highly recommend staying here and would go back in a second!!!!!

This hotel is in a great location but....
My family stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in 2 rooms, (not on the same floor) and had the same problems in both rooms - very noisy. The bathrooms - you can hear everything from your neighbours bathroom, very thin walls in the bedrooms. Spoke to other guests who had the same opinions.
We did not find the reception staff at all friendly or helpful and also found the security staff that inhabited the lobby area very condescending and ignorant. I would think that this hotel is much more suited to business travellers than holiday makers. There is no tourist information to hand whatsoever. On the plus side, the bell-boys and house-keeping staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is well presented and varied.
In comparison to european hotel prices - great deal, but don't expect european standards.
