Visiting the Recoleta Cemetery is like being in a mini city. We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day just strolling casually down the 'streets' snapping photos of beautiful stonework and really amazing bronze work. You could spend a day at the cemetery or just 20 minutes and since it's free, what difference does it make. For me an added bonus were the cats that appear to live in the cemetery. I was really missing my kitty back home so some kitty loving from the cemetery cats made my day.
Entry is free but we chose to buy a map to help us find our way around and understand who the important people were.
A lovely day and the cemetery is right next to the Recoleta Street Fair.
