I stayed here whilst on holiday and booked it as a 3 star hotel because I couldn't afford any better. If I knew then what I know now a loan for 5 star would have been best.
First, none of the facilities shown ( gym, sauna ) were available. The room was freezing cold, for two reasons. First because there was no suitable heater. Second the windows everywhere had gaps in them that when the wind blew it blew the curtains ( loosely described as curtains ) The windows also rattled in the wind causing sleepless nights.
The carpets were filthy, really filthy. Room obviously recently painted but lots of signs of dampness on the walls. The bathroom was in a poor condition and the kitchen facilities were useless. When it rained the ceiling leaked leaving a puddle on the floor. This only happened on the last night so I didn't bother to say anything.

On the plus side the breakfast was ok (ish). Reception staff were very good and helpful, considering I am English and do not speak Spanish. The cleaner was good and did her best. Location is good.
I would suggest if going to Bs As spend more on at least a 4 star hotel as others in this catagory that I saw didn't seem much better.There are some good hotels on Ave 12 Julio that are centrally located.
Food in this area is fantastic and nearly opposite this hotel is the Chacra steak restaurant, life size cow outside. You will not eat anywhere in the world better than this, brilliant service and cheap. A must if in B A.

Overall I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

This is an old and uncomfortable hotel. The staff at the reception rude and unfriendly. The hotel is not worth the rate they charge. Everything is old, air conditioners do not work well, beds are hard and the bathrooms are extremely small. You can hardly fit in the shower. Breakfast is awful and breakfast room hot and humid. Do not stay at this hotel. We moved to another hotel for the same price which was modern, friendly and clean.

The rooms are old though clean . They are very crowded .
However our bad experience with this hotel is the way they treated us.
Their rates were high for a hotel of this kind to begin with (We later "had " to compare) and when we wanted to add another night they charged us more. Because it was only for one night and because we had left our luggage there we decided to agree. However when we returned at night tired from our jurney they decided to raise the price in 20us$ inspite of the fact that there was a written order with the lower price. For 20$ dollars they shamed us and explained to us that this is how business is done in Argentina. We think that before doing business with this hotel one should know this fact. It can happen to you too
