Nice overall choice for anyone planning to take the ferry to Uruguay for the day and for easy access to downtown, Galerias Pacifico and Florida Street. Spacious rooms built much like HI Express rooms everywhere. Recently refurbished with newer bedding and carpet. Attractive lobby...decent breakfast bar wiith local pasteries, cereal, yogurt, juice, and fruit. Computer center with five stations and free use of printer. Local calls are free. Early checkin based on availability (I checked in at 10AM, no problem). Phone the hotel directly for best rates...or play with different options on the HI website. I paid US100 per night for a king bed. Bottom line...stay here for the convenience to downtown/ferry/Puerto Madero areas and for comfortable, predictable rooms...do not stay here if you are insearch of a charming neighborhood and a hotel oozing with local charm.

I did like that hotel because of its location. It is a very good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic.

Great location. Main shopping district is behind the hotel. Fantastic restaurants in the renovated port area about half a mile in front of hotel.
Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
24 hour security.
Internet access is a wee bit of a rip off.
Book direct. Call the hotel. You get a fantastic rate compared to booking via the internet.

Stayed here our last night in Buenos Aires because the inn we preferred to stay in didn't have availability our last night. We found this hotel to be very clean and spacious. This was the largest room we stayed in during our 2-weeks of traveling in Argentina & Uruguay! GREAT central location with easy access to most major sites and popular areas of the city.
