“pluses and a minus .. read on”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I stayed here on a recent group tour and found my opinion to be split.

The walls are paper thin as noted by other reviewers and if you need your sleep, this may present a problem since there is no recourse for management.

Pluses: Free wifi, lovely and spacious lobby and dining area under a large skylight ceiling, very good buffet breakfast, average pricing at the the very small bar, good location and my experience with the staff was positive.

This is my second stay in the hotel. I did not like it first time. I still don't like it.
First of all the rooms are tiny, the bathroom in the room is so small and kind of smelly.
The walls are so thin because I can hear my next door neighbor eating!
Internet is important for me in a hotel. They make you pay for internet service and it is HORRIBLE! So slow and useless. The staff is not very friendly and they are not helping much. Almost nobody speaks English. The breakfast buffet is just OK. Do not expect much. The only good thing is the location. I would not prefer to stay here next time. If you have another option, take it.

Room Tip: Only stayed twice. Both were bad. Don't have any idea.

We stayed several nights in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient to Recoleta Cemetery ( a great tourist attraction), shopping plaza, restaurants ( we
recommend NOT eating at the touristy ones near the cemetery) and a very safe area. The room we had (804) was a corner suite with windows to a rooftop courtyard, spacious and comfortable?
Yes it is a disadvantage to have free wifi only available in the lobby but this seems to be the only disadvantage to this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 804 is very comfortable.

The Hotel Loi Suites is very clean with a formal lobby. The rooms were clean and roomy. The breakfast buffet is held in the area near the pool. The roof is retractable to allow natural light (and a few small birds), which makes you feel like you are on an island getaway trip. My only negative was the staff seemed rather stuffy and proud of themselves. Maybe it is my mis-interpretation after being on a 2 week hiking trip of Patagonia but I felt they could have exuded more friendliness.
The Recoleta Cemetery was practically around the corner, which made it easy to visit during our stay. There was also a shopping mall and great gelato shops within a block or two!

Room Tip: This is a densely populated area; therefore, I think any room is as good as another. The views may n...

This is an excellent place to stay in BA. Adjacent to the Recoleta Cemetary and the Recoleta Mall. Free WIFI in the lobby, adequate buffet breakfast in the courtyard area, room #509 (superior) was large and quiet at night. ATM's and good restaurants nearby, desk staff very helpful. Would stay here again in the future.

We stayed here before and after going to the Iguazu Falls. It is conveniently located a short taxi ride from the domestic airport, near the Recoleta Cemetery and restaurants (though these were very touristy and unappealing). We arrived from a cruise ship at 10am and the front desk were extememly helpful and gave us early checkin and a room upgrade. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful with luggage, taxis and information. The included breakfast buffet is better than many others, the included lobby wifi quite adequate for our needs.

On our return stay, we had a smaller room but still large by city standards. Bathrooms were good and well stocked. Neither room had an interesting view, but the a/c worked well.

We booked a very enjoyable dinner and tango show through Tangol, they pick up from this hotel and it all worked well. We were lucky to be there on a Sunday when there is a very large and interesting market just around the corner. Overall this is an unpretentious, friendly hotel that gives you good value for money.

I stayed in the hotel for about 5 days as part of my study broad program. It is a nicely decorated hotel. However, the front desk is not that attentive. The Wifi connection is not good either although durable. the breakfast buffet is nice. One thing surprise me is that the bathroom there is no curtain nor fan at all. Not sure if it is the norm in BA hotel. It definitively in a nice location
