I have never written a review before but I had such a pleasant stay at the Hilton BA that I felt compelled to share. The location of the hotel is really excellent -- the area is safe (and feels safe), convenient to other areas of interest, and sits on a waterway with a nice boardwalk that is packed with excellent restaurants. Our room (a standard king size) was newly furnished and comfortably sized. The gym was impressive, too -- it's much more like a healthclub than a standard hotel workout room. If you are going to Buenos Aires, I would strongly suggest that you consider staying at the Hilton, and hope you have as good a stay as I did.

It was a wonderful five-night stay at Hilton Buenos Aires in December of 2006! We had found an excellent rate of US$165:-/night + tax, it was the cheapest we could find at Hilton's web site. The rate also included a US$50:- food/drink credit we could use at bars and restaurants in the hotel and also through room service.

We had pre-booked an airport transfer and our driver was waiting for us at the airport, it worked really well as we were a bit tired from our long flight from Europe.

As a Hilton HHonors gold member we were upgraded to executive level. Our room was very nice and bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. Executive lounge had delicious breakfasts and the evening cocktails were excellent with small hors d'oeuvres too.

We didn't use the spa or fitness center but we could see that the fitness center was extensive with many different exercise machines. The outside pool was very nice, we really enjoyed relaxing there after long days of exploring Buenos Aires.

We also enjoyed the hotel wine bar, the wine selection was good and our small meal tasty.

Hotel is situated very well in Porto Madero. The area is very nice and safe with a lot of restaurants and it is not too long to walk to other areas such as San Telmo for sights and Florida for shopping.

For a great dinner we can recommend "Nectarine" in 1661 Vicente López in Recoleta. It is truly a fantastic restaurant with French-influenced cuisine and an extensive wine list, and the service is very friendly too. The restaurant is situated upstairs at the end of a pedestrian arcade and is decorated as an 19th century upper class apartment/dining room.This restaurant has among the best value for money of any restaurant I've ever eaten worldwide. Ask the concierge to make a reservation. We also enjoyed "La Cabana", en excellent steakhouse in Recoleta.

We really fell in love with Buenos Aires and can't wait to go back there again. The city feels very European and it reminded us of Paris a lot. People are friendly and there are lots to see. When we go back we won't hesitate to stay at Hilton.

Excellent place to stay in Buenos Aires, near many good places to eat in Puerto Madeiro (in walking distance of the hotel). Staff is very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Great service, great big rooms, a fantastic view a very good Gym and nice spa. Very close to lots of great places in Puerto Madero area. I will stay there again.
