The Hilton Buenos Aires in Puerto Madero was one of the best things about our recent trip to Buenos Aires, and is completely modern and gorgeous in every way. From its top notch service, beautiful lobby (with wine bar adjacent), and wonderful multi-lingual staff, it’s a fabulous oasis retreat at the end of a heavy-walking day. The wonderful concierge staff was happy to check status on our lost luggage, and to make multiple dinner and tour reservations for us during the week we were there. Our room was spacious, modern, scrupulously clean, and well-appointed. We had a lovely full bath, with plenty of marble on the single-sink countertop and all around, separate alcove for toilet and bidet with its own door, roomy marble-accented shower (again, with its own door), and good-sized tub with bath accessories. Inside the large room, there was a wide, low armoire with a mirror above which housed a refrigerated mini-bar on one side and shelves on the other. The room also contained a very comfortable king-sized bed, decent-sized TV, large desk (with internet hookup for $20 per day) and a table for two next to the large window overlooking the city and waterway (perfect for enjoying a room service breakfast). All of the hotel food we enjoyed was wonderful, and our service was unrelentlingy impeccable over the course of our seven-night stay.

Puerto Madero is a cool location for visitors. There are many fine restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to go too far after a long day. It's also less than a $5 cab ride to anywhere else in the city you might want to go. Two of the best meals we had in Buenos Aires were just steps away from the Hilton's doors... Cabana Las Lilas and Il Gran Caruso. Check them out if you go...especially Il Gran Caruso. Muy Yum!

  • Liked — Everything...It was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were particularly exceptional.
  • Disliked — I have absolutely no negatives to report.
  • Tips/Secrets: — Eat next door at Il Gran Caruso.

The Hilton BsAs offers very good value for the money. Rooms are large and well kept. The property has a very nice lobby where you find their own bakery (try their walnut alfajores). Location is Puerto Madero, very convenient for walks and close enough to downtown. I have stayed there several times and wouldn´t hesitate going back.

  • Liked — Location and lobby
  • Disliked — check sometimes have surly looking people

We stayed at the Hilton for a week. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The hotel is located in a very convenient location. It located in Puerto Madero and the hotel overlooks the port which has a beautiful marina. It is located within walking distance (10 minutes by foot) to Florida street, which has some of the best shopping in Buenos Aires. Along the port is a wide selection of fine dining restaurants that you can walk to from the hotel. We stayed on the executive floor in a standard room. The room and bathroom were nicely sized. The decor was pleasant and for the most part, the amenties in the room were pretty new.

The staff at the hotel was very professional and accomodating. The only gripe we had was that the hotel does not convert currency. So, we had to venture out of the hotel to get our money exchanged. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton. I would strongly recommend considering this hotel for your next stay in Buenos Aires.

  • Liked — Comfortable room and great amenities
  • Disliked — Price
  • Tips/Secrets: — Don't wait to get to the hotel to exchange your currency. They don't provide this service.

Definitely not the best Hilton Hotel and by no means inexpensive when it comes to Buenos Aires.
They just get by but charge like wounded bulls for anything they can.
How can you include a coffee maker with terrible coffee and tea,no spoons or milk and hide a little sign which charges $6.00 for the right to make your own bad coffee or tea? Thats penny pinching and not appreciated.
Its always the small things that make a hotel special. I did not feel special here at all.
if there is another visit, I'll stay at the Intercontinental which is where I stayed the last time I was here. It was excellent. Oh, just one more thing,if you use the telephone or internet here - it's about the most expensive anywhere in the world - so is the Mini bar. $7 USD for a bottle of water???
