We stayed at the Hilton for a week. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The hotel is located in a very convenient location. It located in Puerto Madero and the hotel overlooks the port which has a beautiful marina. It is located within walking distance (10 minutes by foot) to Florida street, which has some of the best shopping in Buenos Aires. Along the port is a wide selection of fine dining restaurants that you can walk to from the hotel. We stayed on the executive floor in a standard room. The room and bathroom were nicely sized. The decor was pleasant and for the most part, the amenties in the room were pretty new.

The staff at the hotel was very professional and accomodating. The only gripe we had was that the hotel does not convert currency. So, we had to venture out of the hotel to get our money exchanged. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton. I would strongly recommend considering this hotel for your next stay in Buenos Aires.

  • Liked — Comfortable room and great amenities
  • Disliked — Price
  • Tips/Secrets: — Don't wait to get to the hotel to exchange your currency. They don't provide this service.

Definitely not the best Hilton Hotel and by no means inexpensive when it comes to Buenos Aires.
They just get by but charge like wounded bulls for anything they can.
How can you include a coffee maker with terrible coffee and tea,no spoons or milk and hide a little sign which charges $6.00 for the right to make your own bad coffee or tea? Thats penny pinching and not appreciated.
Its always the small things that make a hotel special. I did not feel special here at all.
if there is another visit, I'll stay at the Intercontinental which is where I stayed the last time I was here. It was excellent. Oh, just one more thing,if you use the telephone or internet here - it's about the most expensive anywhere in the world - so is the Mini bar. $7 USD for a bottle of water???

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in March 2006 on a visit to South America. We liked the Hilton a great deal and would stay here again. The rooms are standard Hilton rooms, clean and quiet. The hotel is in a fantastic location in Puerto Madera. It is within walking distance of some of the best restauraunts in Buenos Aires.

Definately worth a visit.

Stayed at the BA Hilton for one night and a half day because I had a late flight that night.
Hotel is located in the up and coming Puerto Madero area There are many news shops and buildings going up in the area. There are already numerous resturants. The hotel is very modern in design and what you would expect from a Hilton. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom has a large tub and shower. Lota of amenties in the room. Be careful you do have to pay to make coffee in your room..I think $6 Pesos. Water is $19 Pestos..but you don't have to use either one. Hotel has a business center on the 5th floor and you can use the internet for about 15 minutes for free to send an e-mail . The lobby is very nice with a piano in the middle and an elderly gentleman plays in the. evening, you can sit and enjoy drinks. nice Resturant.... pastry bar.
Customer Service is outstanding. This always a important part of my trip because when you walk into a hotel and the staff is rude..your hotel stay is questionable. A women named Samanta made my stay very plesant as I walked in she greeted me with a warm smile and was just so helpful,,,and believe me I asked a lots of questions of the staff and all were plesant.

A few extras.. the hotel can arrange transportation to the EZE airport for $75 pestos or take a cab for about $55- 65$ pestos. EZE airport is easy to navigae. Again people are helpful..and no I don't speak Spanish. The hotel arranged the tours for me. They were all excellent especially the city tour. This guide was so knowledgable about BA. He even gave us a tour book at the end of our tour....If you can please see a Tango show.. you won' regret it! Remember the season are in reverse and summer is in December and now it is fall going into winter.
