I stayed here before and was very impressed. My return visit was equally wonderful, even though the Club Level was booked full. Still, the options in the public dining rooms and lounges are fine; the room was comfortable and spotless -- what I always expect from a good business class hotel. I leave the other details to the long list of other satisfied guests below.

What really sets this place apart is the outstanding, attentive, professional service quality, at a level that I'd expect more at a 5-star hotel (if THEY did it as well!)

I must also compliment the honestly of this place. After a meal when I was not paying close attention, I accidentally left a very large bill for a tip. I usually leave a good tip, but not THIS excessive. When I got to my room, I discovered my mistake as I checked my funds for the next day, and was about to chalk up this mistake to my stupidity. Just at that time, the phone rang. The desk at the restaurant wanted to know if I had intended to leave such a large bill at the table. I confessed that it was a mistake, we made an exchange, and I left a quite good tip instead. Really -- how many places would have this level of concern for the guest and a probable mistake? The place continues to set the standard on a world-class, and very honorable level.

This hotel is in a great location in the seaport district that has been renovated during the past 10 years. It is withing walking distance to many restaurants and is very safe. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. It is worth it to upgrade to the concierge level.

I have been in a lot of Hilton hotels (Gold Member). I can say, without a doubt, that this is probably the best Hilton in Latin America. The location is great (walking distance to the restaurants and bars of Puerto Madero, and just in front of the river). The Hilton chain has normally standard and executive roms in their properties. All the rooms in the Hilton Buenos Aires are huge, and look like executive rooms. The pool is great. The food is good (a bit expensive though), but Buenos Aires has so many good restaurants that is not a good idea to eat in the hotel. I strongly recommend La Cabana de las Lilas (2 or 3 blocks from the Hilton).

Stayed here for 6 nights while attending conference in hotel. Beautiful, airy lobby with nice bar, café and take out counter. We were lucky with our room; not all are as nice: renovated seventh floor room with city view. Well-secured and maintained hotel. Worth the price, I suppose. However, they do try to nickel-and-dime you with things like $7. bottles of water in the room (I bought 8 bottles for that price at the small store across the street), and only 15 minutes of free computer time per day! Location is an easy walk across the bridge to all historic downtown sights. However, I would not stay in Puerto Madero again – the whole place is under construction, daytime jackhammering is deafening, and the dust level irritating.

I have been to BA twice and prefer staying in Palermo. However, after a week of harcore adventure in Patagonia, I opted for the Hilton, a very modern hotel in Puerto Maduro, a touristy but fun neighborhood. The hotel is very modern and clean. I would rate it a huge cut above most Hilton's in the USA. The rooftop pool is amazing, as is the spa. The neighborhood is not authentic BA, but is safe and fun. If you want a modern hotel, this is a great choice.
