Malabia house is on a tree lined street in trendy Palermo, right near lots of bars, restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is safe and there is a 24 hour guard. The hotel itself feels like a little house with two sitting rooms and a breakfast room downstairs. The rooms are comfortable and simply, but tastefully decorated. The best part of the hotel was the staff everyone was very friendly, helped us with everything (including booking us new tickets when the airlines changed ours). I would return here in a second, and recommend it highly!

This 15-room hotel in the Palermo area is the perfect alternative to the faceless large hotels. In addition to comfortable and well-appointed rooms, this hotel has the most attentive, friendly staff I have ever encountered. I highly recommend this place, and the value is terrific.

Superb design and friendly, helpful staff create a great atmosphere. Don't miss the 7PM free drink and snacks, a good way to meet other guests.

We have just stayed 5 nights at 1555 Malabia house. The location is really good with many cafes and good restaurants nearby. We always felt safe in the Palermo neighborhood. The rooms at Malabia House are interesting, small but clean with very good beds. Management has done a superb job in chosing the young, enthusiastic staff who are always there to help with whatever your needs. If we go back to BA we would stay at Malabia House. One tip - they will give substantial discounts if you pay in cash. I think we saved around 20 % off our bill.
