To start, my husband and I booked our three night stay at the Malabia House on the day we ended up there! We didn't love the hotel (shall remain unnamed since they were kind enough to let us out without penalty) we had planned to stay in, so we called Malabia after hearing good things about it and also knowing how fabulous the location is. We were initially greeted by Lisi, who is staff at Malabia House. Lisi is extraordinary. She was sweet and accommodating to us during this unplanned move to Malabia. Her English was perfect, as was the rest of the staff's too. We only speak limited Spanish, so it helped us a lot. The price was reasonable, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, and very social in a family style table set-up. The ONLY drawback to the hotel is that the bathrooms are very, very small and that there are windows facing the sometimes noisy hallway. But, for the most part the noise was minimal, especially after 9pm and before 9am. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples visiting Buenos Aires who are on a budget but want a nice, clean, stylish hotel.
