It's billed as a 4-star hotel but in reality it comes across as 3-star. Good points were: location, very helpful reception/front of house staff, spacious suite with wooden floors, very clean, very quiet, lots of light. What was disappointing for me was the room service/restaurant. Food quality was poor. On two occasions hot meals turned up cold, sandwiches were mainly bread and little filling. Breakfast buffet was fine, but there was no option to order breakfast by room service. Suite had a fridge, microwave and coffee cups but no kettle/coffee maker. Housekeeping was very good and totally unintrusive. Cable TV had plenty of channels but no BBC or CNN in English. Wireless internet connection was very good.

Stayed at the Broadway at the end of my stay in BA. Good location, close to eateries, subway, bookstores and the Obelisco on busy Corrientes.

I had a single, very spacious, wood floors and shower, but no tub. Great air conditioning. No view from my room, but lots of light nevertheless. Very noisy in the am with doors slamming and cleaning staff doing their thing. Couldn't sleep in.

Wi-fi, about $A27, I think, for 24 hours, very expensive for BA, but reliable. Buy a password at the front desk. Unable to get one calling from my room.

Staff at front desk, a little distracted. I guess they are busy, but professional. They were unable to change a $A100. to get a cab. I appreciated a call from the front desk when a friend stopped by, instead of just letting him come up, from a security standpoint.

I'll be back in BA soon but will try another hotel, just for a little variety.

Best hotel features? Location and room spaciousness.

This hotel offered excellent value for the US$115 a night I booked it for on-line. Excellent location, quiet, very new, modern & stylish, excellent amenities, helpful staff, clean. I was so impressed that it prompted me to register with TripAdvisor to make this my first review.

I stayed in both types of rooms they offer - junior suite & superior room. Both were excellently appointed rooms, but if you don't need a kitchenette & small lounge area I suggest you book the Superior Room for the extra sense of space. The hotel has been newly renovated and is very modern & stylish with all rooms featuring dark wooden floorboards & CD players. Superior rooms feature a marble 'dining' table, marble bathroom, flat LCD TV.

The whole hotel (including the restaurant) is covered with complimentary WiFi internet access. It worked reliably enabling me to use Skype the whole time. Breakfast in the restauarant had excellent FRESH fruit and pastries, and scrambled eggs that were ok.

The rooftop pool is stylish and the gym is better than average. There is also a sauna. The hotel is 100 metres from the Obelisk at the intersection of Corrientes and the famous avenue of Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest city boulevard in the world. The upmarket docks area of Puerto Madero, offering some of the city’s best gastronomic experiences is only 5 minutes away, Plaza de Mayo and the fashionable Recoleta district are also in close proximity.

Staff were very helpful with advice on finding anything we needed - printing out directions and reviews of restaurants from an online web site. In fact one of the bell boys offered to take our four x 30-something group of men out on the town and we had a great night with him.

I feel like my review sounds too good to be true but having travelled the world for business for 10 years, and being a frequent guest of Sheraton, Hyatt & Shangri La hotels, I have to say this was one of the best value stays I've ever had in a hotel.

I love this hotel!!! Great location. Great central air conditioning. Nice, helpful, friendly staff. For three adults this apartment layout worked nicely. The living room area had a fold out futon bed, and kitchenette, then off the short hallway was the bathroom (complete with bidet) and at the end of the hall was a good sized master bedroom with massive double glazed windows.

The tasty buffet breakfast was served in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Wireless internet was available and there were two computers available in a corner of the restaurant for a fee.

The hotel was about one block from the Obelisk and there were many places to eat within a block or two of the hotel. The subway was nearby as were a number of banks, a variety of stores and a number of live theater venues.

Great price, great location for walking or metro availability to city sights, and superior staff. Hotel is undergoing another remodeling for 2006 grand re-opening. However, the work never interfered with cleanliness, peace and quiet we sought. Solid full breakfast buffet, excellent room service, and responsive staff. Amenities included in room safe, honor bar (fridge) with drinks/snacks, microwave. Excellent laundry/dry cleaning service (returned in three hours at no additional charge). We would return in a heartbeat.
