One thing I can say about this hotel: it ---! If you are interested in a bad smelly, old, dirty and unpleasant place, you found your "home" in Buenos Aires. The carpet was repulsive (it had a dirt pat between the door and the bed), stained sheets, the wallpaper had lots of mould, the bath wet the floor ...there was ONE good room (the more expensive) in all hotel.
Was it all bad? No. The location is good, but not the best (choose something at the Recoleta), the breakfeast was nice, the staff was friendly. And that´s it. If you love yourself, don't stay here.

Stayed at the Aspen Towers for 4 nights during a weeklong stay in Buenos Aires. At first, we were a little disappointed as it looked a bit more worn down than the photos I had seen on the internet, and we were a little spoiled from previously staying at 5 star hotels (on other trips).

But, we ended up really enjoying our stay at the Aspen Towers. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, gracious and professional. The location is great and it really feels like you're in the heart of the city. We really missed the people and hotel after we left. The breakfast buffet left something to be desired, but other than that, it was a lovely hotel. I would say it is a 3 star by US standards, but I would recommend it for the price and atmosphere.

Terrific hotel, location and price. Friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable rooms with super baths. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently spent 5 nights at the Aspen Towers. The first room we were given had peeling wall paper and was small. Upon request our room was immediately changed to a large room with a king size bed. The staff was very helpful booking restaurants and answering our varied questions. Buenos Aires is a wonderful city to visit.
