We had 3 nights in this fairly basic 4 star hotel in a well situated area. We had the unfortunate luck to be at the hotel on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March when the narrow street was used for St Patrick's day celebrations until 6am the next morning on each occasion. We were warned about the celebrations upon our arrival and asked for a back room which wasn't forthcoming. There are Irish Pubs and Bars in that area so you can imagine what the noise was like. Obviously, we slept badly. I would suggest that it would probably be noisy on normal Friday and Saturday nights as well but maybe not as bad. Service in the restaurant was adequate but no great shakes. Breakfast was average.
