This was the perfect hotel for people visiting buenos aires for the first time. It is verycentrally located near all of the busses, trains and ferries (to uruguay). It is also close to all of the central attractions and calle florida (the main shopping street). The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very helpful.

We stayed here twice, before and after our trip to Iguazu Falls. We found the hotel to be excellent. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful willing to change large pesos for cab fares etc. Again the conceirge was equally accommodating arranging site seeing trips, booking tango tickets and storing some of our luggage while we were in Iguazu. Always lots of taxi outside waiting to take you anywhere. Should also mention the breakfasts were excellent, eggs (omlettes to order), bacon, sauage, cereal, fruit etc etc. Internet availability. Would go back again without hesitation.

Good size room. Nice and quiet. Everything worked even if the room was somewhere between uninspired and unattractive. Pool was great and really a scene...we thought the music and traffic made it more animated but certainly not a place to relax unless you have an ipod. Fast elevators and very helpful concierge staff. Never tried restaurants but they seemed expensive and good food was a few blocks away at The Empire thai restaurant.

We stayed for one night using "Points and Cash" payment option, so I can't really tell anything about the value. It's a huge hotel and business/meeting complex, not really a nice building from outside. At the top floors you'll have a great view over the city. Located close to the Puerto Madero area and some attractions and the main shopping area is in walking distance. Spa is good but the outside pool is noisy (close to main road). Good service (average for this type of hotel). Freely availably Internet usage is limited to 30 min/day per room. If you love large hotels, you'll love this Sheraton.
