My husband and I stayed at this hotel for only one night. Good location - easy walking distance to most places. The room was clean, despite the older carpet. Staff were friendly. Decent breakfast. Average hotel for the price ($85.00USD).

Have just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Plaza Francia. The location is ideal for walkers and cabbers alike. The staff are friendly and helpful. My companion was sick in bed for 2 days and they could not have been more considerate. The ambiance was more like a B and B than a hotel...a welcoming atmosphere.

Many good restaurants are just around the corner, as well as cafes, pastry shops,cafes , pharmacies , banks etc. One can walk to the National Museum of Art,the Recoleta Cemetary, the Church of Nuestra Senora del Pilar. High end stores are a few blocks away.

The rooms at the hotel are very clean, fresh linen on the beds daily. The bar is always open for tea or coffee.I will definitely return to the beautiful city of Buenos Aries and back to the Hotel Plaza Francia as well.

Great location, friendly staff but pretty average rooms. Good value for money but best viewed as a B&B

We just finished a three night stay at Hotel Francia. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to accommodate our group of seven. They opened up the bar at 2:00 a.m. for after dinner drinks and provided information on restaurants, tango shows, transportation, etc. We are now staying at the Art Hotel and are not equally as impressed. The atmosphere is decidedly unfriendly-- we were told there was no coffee available and that the breakfast was closed at just after 11:00 a.m. There was a half full pot of coffee on the buffet and they poured it out just after we asked. I would definitely choose Hotel Francia for our entire stay if I could do it again.
