“A luxurious and unparalleled Latin American experience yet 20% cheaper than Euro”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

This hotel is my unequivocal choice as the standard bearer for excellence in Buenos Aires. Assuming that you will receive excellent service is a given because it is a member of probably the best luxury chain of hotels in the world, but their attention to detail left me feeling extremely flattered if not outright royal. Take for instance the porter Juan. After one encounter he not only knew and referred to me by name but was also helpful with navigation of the different sites of the city, took my pants to be dry cleaned and made sure my merchandise was delivered (the hotel is in the heart of a boutique shop extravaganza that rivals Madison Avenue with names like Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Ralph Lauren and the leather experts Rossi & Caruso) . In addition, the beds, pillows, etc., were comfortable and relaxing, the room service and food were delicious while the gym, sauna and steam room were adequate. Finally, the experience is one that I can, without reservation, recommend for a delightful, relaxing and exhilarating Latin American sojourn.

“Great Hotel”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

The Four Seasons in BA is the place where The Stones stay when they are passing through on tour. It is not cheap, but by European standards it is a bargain! The rooms are sumptuous. The beds are the kind that you just fall asleep in....even the insomniacs! The bathrooms are finished in marble with a seperate shower cubicle with a solid glass door, and the toilet is in a recess. I witnessed the maid clean the whole bathroom one day. It took her about 30 minutes and that included the hoovering and the polishing! Everyone speaks English, but sometimes they do not quite understand, but you think they have. As they want to please you they don;t ask for clarification! Can lead to baggage which we;d asked to be put in storage as we were going up to the Iguazu Falls for 2 days, ending up outside the hotel waiting for us to leave! I only give this criticism for future travellers to emphasise important issues and make sure they obtain confirmation of understanding from the ever-so-helpful staff!

“Beautiful hotel, quiet yet convenient location”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

The Four Seasons is located in an upmarket suburb within walking distance of a major shopping mall and just outside the door are several very good restaurants.
The rooms were very big with a standard room being larger than many other chain hotels suites. The elegant room had a walk in wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom.
Conceirge were very helpful and able to suggest a private tour guide, book a Tango show at an exclusive and delicious bar.
Howevevr the business centre staff were rude and did not provide accurate information. We requested a package to be sent by courier to Santiago and only once in Santiago did we realise they provided us with false information regarding customs, over charged us and incorrectly marked the forms resulting in us paying duty on second hand clothing! We did not though allow this to spoil our view of the hotel I just strongly suggest not taking the advice of business centre staff.
Breakfast was very good although the service was too slow for a quick breafkast.
The pool was beautiful as was the gym very well equiped.
Overall it was an excellent hotel minus our business centre experience.

This is a great place to stay. Beautiful hotel, sparkling, and a wonderfully friendly and attentive and helpful staff. We were there for six days and could not have been happier. Le Mistral, the restaurant, served the best dinner of our entire stay.
Having an outdoor pool in the summer is great.

    • Liked — the staff - lots of staff who took the time to know us and to help us
    • Disliked — the hotel is next to a noisy roadway, but somehow that didn't seem to bother us; would recommend you ask for a room facing the mansion

“Pampered in Buenos Aires”

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

Altogether, we stayed 7 nights at this great hotel. Their service is very impressive! The rooms are spacious and nice. Try to get one facing the garden/pool as they have the nicer view and are more quiet as the ones facing street. The location is very convenient - it's in the middle of Recoleta, with premier sites, nice restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in walking distance. Palermo, San Telmo or Puerto Madryn are only a short drive away. Only downside is that the breakfast is very overpriced but you will find pleasant breakfast place nearby. We never ate in their restaurant but used the gymn which is well equipped and were grateful for the garden and pool (always crowded but better than nothing) after a hot summer day in the city.
