This is a great place to stay. Beautiful hotel, sparkling, and a wonderfully friendly and attentive and helpful staff. We were there for six days and could not have been happier. Le Mistral, the restaurant, served the best dinner of our entire stay.
Having an outdoor pool in the summer is great.

Altogether, we stayed 7 nights at this great hotel. Their service is very impressive! The rooms are spacious and nice. Try to get one facing the garden/pool as they have the nicer view and are more quiet as the ones facing street. The location is very convenient - it's in the middle of Recoleta, with premier sites, nice restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in walking distance. Palermo, San Telmo or Puerto Madryn are only a short drive away. Only downside is that the breakfast is very overpriced but you will find pleasant breakfast place nearby. We never ate in their restaurant but used the gymn which is well equipped and were grateful for the garden and pool (always crowded but better than nothing) after a hot summer day in the city.

Really Excellent Service

We spent 4 days at FS BA in late November and our experience was excellent, as usually when staying with FS. Above all (cleanliness, breakfast, room, local area etc.) their service is legendary!! They fulfilled all our queries & desires, always with a huge smile ! After returning from Iguazu Falls where we stayed only for one night we spent some 2 more nights in BA, this time staying in Alvear. In case you are not so tradition & luxury oriented, please stay in Four Seasons and avoid Alvear which smells a little oldish and tired (rooms as well are really tiny here, unless you are ready to pay a fortune for a suite).

Stayed at the Four Seasons for 3 nights having stayed at the Alvear Palace for 3 nights the week before (see review). The Four Seasons is a beautiful modern hotel. Our room was a premier deluxe suite, the room was huge and faced La Mansion which is the quiet side of the hotel. I believe all rooms in this class face this side of the hotel (the quiet side) while the smaller rooms face the busier, noisier side. The concierge staff was absolutely amazing rearranging our flights with Aerolineas Argentina, despite the fact that all flights were completely sold out (Christmas time) they managed to get us rebooked exactly as we desired. Nothing was too much to ask. The pool area is beautiful and the food in the restaurant was superb. This is an amazing modern hotel in contrast to the Alvear which is also fantastic but old world.
